摘要： A unique multiple work surface pullout unit that increases space utilization by providing multiple work surfaces for performance of multiple tasks marginally within the space allocated for one. Floors and structural walls, in addition to the framing elements of existing cabinets and counters may provide significant structural support/support frame function for a multiple work surface pullout unit. The multiple work surface pullout unit comprises at least two, generally rectangular in shape, work surfaces of appropriate dimension for the intended use of each work surface; a pair of primary slides and a pair of secondary slides, and means of connecting pairs of slides, identified herein as a pair of rails. Compact size is achieved in part by limiting load-bearing service to the primary slides. Said comprising components are configured and connected such that the work surfaces can move either together as a unit or independently and in either the same or opposite direction. Said pullout unit can be undocked (moved from storage area in the frame) to a useful exposure for a designated task and work surfaces in said pullout unit can be moved independently into and out of the work position for each work surface. Good design will accommodate simultaneous use of work surfaces.

摘要： Front decorative panel can be moved from its storage position directly in front of the desk into a deployed, horizontal work space position near or at the height of the desk's top. When deployed the panel provides additional workspace arranged to run in parallel with the front of the desk or perpendicular to the desk top as a long extension. At least one support member that can be moved into position beneath the front panel after horizontal deployment to keep the front panel in its upright, horizontal position. Control hardware enables the front panel to be physically manipulated into deployed or storage positions by a user. A safety mechanism associated with the control hardware can restrict the speed or movement of the front panel. The front panel can be used by meeting collaborators when deployed and enable the maintenance of open office space when the front panel is stored.

摘要： A desk organizer having a horizontally disposed rail is mounted over a desk by use of a support base secured to the desk, or a support base secured to walls surrounding the desk, such as those found in office cubicles. The desk support base includes an elongated rod carrying a spindle which extends vertically from the support base. The spindle and rod have several receptacles at different levels above the support surface and are rotatably mounted on the support base. The rail can support numerous receptacles along the length thereof by use of slots located on either side surface of the rail. In addition, a slot located along the top surface of the rail permits the placement of self supporting items such as envelopes, cards, notes and the like.

A table top is pivotally mounted underneath and approximately in the center of the work table. The table top is pivotally mounted between a first position where the table top is disposed between the work table and the cabinet and extends so that the table top faces away from the wash basin to a second position where the table top has pivoted approximately 90.degree. so that the table top extends beyond the frontal edge surface of the work table and avoids interference with access to the cabinet.
