    摘要： A universal table having utility at different elevations which includes a top, leg means and brace means. The pair of leg means are pivotally mounted to the top and to a secondary member located vertically downwardly from the pivotal connection to the top. Each pair of leg means extends angularly upwardly and inwardly to the point of connection with the top and has pivotally secured thereto, at a point intermediate the ends, a brace means which extends upwardly and outwardly and has its upper end portion pivotally connected to the table top. The brace means may alternatively be composed of two aligned pivotaly connected brace means or a pair of telescopically interconnected members such that when a table is in a lower position, the brace members are in a semi-folded condition or telescoped. In the upright position, the pivotable brace members are aligned and the telescopic brace members would be extended to their maximum. The table top is formed of two halves which are relatively movable, toward each other as the upper portion of the legs move toward each other and away from each other, to have the space therebetween to be occupied by a separate member when the table is in its uppermost position, and the uppermost ends of the legs are separated by a greater distance.

    摘要： A dual mode table which is convertible to serve as a coffee table and as a dining table comprises a fixed structure supporting a table top through a pair of table top extension means. The extension means comprise facing swingable frames which are pivotally pinned to the base and engage the table top for example through a pin and slot connection for movement of the table top between lowered and raised positions. In the lowered position the table top is substantially at the level of the base structure while in the raised position the extension means are locked and stabilized by appropriate means.

    摘要： A two-level foldable table, bench or the like comprises a top divided into two parts with the parts hinged together. Four individual leg assemblies are provided, two to each top part, each of which has one long leg and one short leg. The assemblies are pivotally mounted to the underside of the top at the junction of the two legs, so that with the short legs vertical the long legs extend along the underside of the top, and vice versa when the long legs are vertical, thus providing a fully supported top at two different selected levels. Catches are provided to hold the legs in their selected positions. When the top is folded the short legs engage each other so that the table etc. forms a compact, solid package suitable for storage and/or carrying.

    摘要： The table has a top which can be enlarged, and a leg structure by means of which the table can be raised and lowered, and the legs can be spread apart or brought closer together. The leg structure includes a pair of pedestals which can be folded in order to spread the pedestals apart, shorten the leg structure, and lower the table top. The table has two halves which can be folded onto one another and fitted into a tray. Thus, a low coffee table with a relatively small top is formed. When the pedestals are unfolded, a plurality of projections pushes the folded table top out of the tray where it can be unfolded and rotated and locked in position. In the latter condition, the table has a larger top with ample height to enable people to fit their chairs under the table edges and sit at the table for dining. The legs are closer together than when the table was in the coffee table form, so that the diners have ample leg-room while sitting at the table.
