摘要： A foldable mattress includes an inflatable supporting frame for retaining a predetermined air therewith, and a reinforcing frame supported on the inflatable supporting frame. The reinforcing frame includes a plurality of reinforcing platforms each having a top platform surface, wherein when the inflatable supporting frame is deflated, the reinforcing platforms are adapted to be overlappedly folded up to form a compact unit, and when the inflatable supporting frame is inflated, the top platform surfaces of the reinforcing platforms are reinforced to correspondingly align on the inflatable supporting frame to form a flat resting surface for the baby to lie thereon, while the inflatable supporting frame functions as an air cushioning support for substantially supporting a weight of the baby.

摘要： A bed is described which includes a plurality of body support members telescopically received in and protruding vertically from closely spaced vertically aligned body support guides. A fluid chamber underlies the guides. A downward pressure applied to one body support member is transmitted via fluid in the fluid chamber to all body support members. The body support members are telescopically movable relative to the guides in response to fluid pressure. A pressure counterbalance is provided which exerts pressure upon fluid in the fluid chamber to counter pressure exerted upon fluid in the fluid chamber by a body at rest upon the body support members.

摘要： A lath grating for the support of mattresses or the like includes a frame and a plurality of laths arranged parallel to each other. Vertical supporting shafts are arranged at both ends of the lath. The supporting shafts are connected to the lath in an articulated manner and are received by vertical guide bore holes provided in a row at the upper sides of the frame legs which extend in longitudinal direction of the lath grating. Longitudinally extending chambers are cut out in the frame legs. A device for supporting the supporting shaft in a spring-like manner and including inflatable tube-like bellows is provided in the chambers. The chambers are tubular and the inflatable bellows directly contact the wall of the tubular chambers along the entire surface thereof as a result of the pressure prevailing in the bellows. The supporting shafts directly contact the bellows. The bellows are connected via regulating members to at least one pressure tank.
