In the fixed position in the adapter (1) is rigidly connected to the support profile (2).

The securing assembly includes a first and a second bracket which are securable to each other without the use of tools or adhesives. The first bracket includes a plurality of sections, secured together, which enable the first bracket to be secured to a slat wall without the use of tools or adhesives. The second bracket includes a first portion securable to the first bracket and a second portion which can be secured to a structure with fasteners. In order to mount a structure on a slat wall the second bracket secured to the structure, the first bracket is secured to the slat wall and then the first and second brackets are secured to each other.
