摘要： The present invention provides a knife block apparatus in combination with different utilities, such as a speaker and/or a display device, resulting in a compact and portable apparatus that saves floor space and provides different utilities in a single apparatus. The knife block apparatus is comprised of a knife block that has at least one slot for at least one knife, at least one speaker that is integrated into the knife block, a music player receptacle that is built into the knife block for receiving and holding a music player, such as but not limited to an MP3, and a knife-sharpening unit that is coupled to the base of the knife block. The knife block apparatus may optionally contain a computing device and a display for playing videos and other culinary content, such as recipes. The apparatus is elegant and commercially advantageous through playing coded culinary content from sponsors.

摘要： A pillow comprises a resilient median portion, two resilient lateral portions and sound deafening earmuffs. The median portion is adapted to receive a back of a person's head. The two lateral portions are attached to an opposite side of the median portion. The earmuffs comprise two sound deafening ear coverings and a flexible band connecting the two sound deafening ear coverings. Each one of the two lateral portion have a cavity to accommodate the sound deafening ear coverings. 摘要： The present invention relates to a receptacle system and component parts thereof, for example a carafe with a lid, wherein an elongated object, for example a (stirring) rod can remain in the opening of the receptacle when the lid is in place. The previously known receptacle systems are susceptible to damage. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide advantageous components of a receptacle system and an advantageous receptacle system per se, wherein the susceptibility to damage is reduced. This object is achieved by a holding device, a lid device and a receptacle system as disclosed herein. According to an embodiment, the holding device essentially has a hollow cylindrical device body, which in turn is composed inter alia of two cylinder portions which are connected to one another by means of a folding device. Both cylinder portions are connected to one another by means of the folding device, such that they can pivot about a pivot axis. To this end, the device body of the holding device forms, by means of the hollow volume thereof, an essentially central rod receptacle with a holder inner surface extending in the axial direction of the device body. Due to the unfoldable structure of the holding device, it is possible for the rod receptacle to encompass a shaft of a rod.
