摘要： A wirelessly controllable, motorized and battery powered drapery apparatus is presented having a rotatable drive element having a guide structure in its surface. The rotatable drive is inserted through the open interior of a plurality of tabs in the shade material. A grommet driver is positioned over the rotatable drive element and connected to one of the plurality of tabs. The grommet driver has at least one tooth that is in communication with the guide structure in the rotatable drive element. As the rotatable drive element is rotated, the grommet drive is driven along the length of the rotatable drive element thereby moving the shade material between an open position and a closed position.

摘要： A motorized window covering is presented having an elongated hollow rod. A battery tube is positioned within the hollow rod. The battery tube has a hollow interior with an elongated spring therein and a stop positioned adjacent an open end of the battery tube. An end cap closes the open end of the battery tube. A plurality of batteries are inserted in end-to-end alignment into the hollow interior of the battery tube. As each battery is inserted, the stop deflects thereby allowing the battery past the stop. Once each battery passes the stop, the stop moves into a stop position thereby holding the battery within the battery tube. To remove each of the plurality of batteries, the stop is deflected and the spring forces the battery out of the hollow interior of the battery tube. The battery tube is electrically connected to a motor that when activated rotates the rod thereby operating the window covering.

摘要： The multi-purpose drapery rod assembly uses unique rod and bracket construction to provide a superior platform for both single and layered drapery. A single-drapery rod cooperates with bracket to attach to surfaces at nearly any angle, and is easily converted to either a Type 1 dual-drapery rod which layers accent drapery to the side and in front of primary drapery without a view-obstructing front rod, or to a Type 2 dual-drapery rod which layers fully-drawable primary drapery in front and to the sides of secondary drapery. Types 1 and 2 are easily converted to the other due to modular construction. Both display drapery from the back, front, and along the sides by connecting the back and front with curved sections between them. The assembly can also be motorized, connecting to an existing traverse rod and converting to a dual-drapery rod when desired.

摘要： A finial assembly includes a sleeve and a finial. The sleeve has a first end and a second end and the finial is mounted on the first end of the sleeve. The finial includes a band of rigid material configured to form a central opening, a decorative insert removably disposed in the central opening and a first set screw. The first set screw serves to tighten the band about the decorative insert and also serves to secure the finial against movement relative to the sleeve. A window covering support rod or a holdback bracket is press fit into the second end of the sleeve. A second set screw further secures the window covering support rod or holdback bracket to the sleeve.

摘要： The curtain includes a foldable panel having an upper edge and two opposite side edges. The foldable panel is reversibly moveable between an extended flat position and a fully folded position upon moving the opposite side edges relative to one another. The panel forms a plurality of juxtaposed sections separated by vertical pleats when the panel is folded. The curtain also includes a plurality of spaced-apart ribbons. Each ribbon has opposite ends connected to the upper edge of the panel and forms a loop. The ribbons extend above the upper edge of the panel when the curtain is hung under the horizontal pole. The curtain further includes a plurality of rigid connectors to be loosely inserted over the horizontal pole. Each connector is inserted through the loop formed by a corresponding one of the ribbons. A method of hanging a curtain is also disclosed.

摘要： Apparatus for hanging curtains from wall brackets includes a hollow cylindrical rod with a longitudinal slot in its wall through which an interior clamping member for each wall bracket may be inserted. The clamping member is secured to a respective bracket by one or more screws which extend from outside of the rod to the clamping member captured within the rod. C-shaped rings mounted on the rod have openings to allow passage of the rings along the rod without coming into contact with the brackets. Each ring has a downward extending projection, e.g., a tab, which can be apertured to receive a hook, clip or other fastener attached to the curtains.
