    摘要: A hockey training device is provided. The hockey training device provides a puck body connected to an elastic shock cord, the other end of which may attach to a user's hockey stick. The puck body has the dimensioning of a regulation hockey puck, while the shock cord is adaptable to different hockey sticks and skill levels of the individual user. The shock cord may be secured within a cavity of the puck body through a body hole thereof. The elasticity of the shock cord enables the user to repeatedly practice their passing skills as well as their receiving skills as the interconnected puck body elastically returns to the hockey stick during use.

    摘要: The night puck has a median plane contiguous with a circumference thereof. The centroid of the puck is located at an intersection of the axis of rotation of the puck with the median plane. A cylindrical cavity extends therein along the natural axis of rotation. This cylindrical cavity has a thin membrane-like bottom wall. A series of holes extend radially along the median plane from the cylindrical cavity to the circumference of the puck. An electronic module is mounted in the cylindrical cavity. This electronic module comprises a battery and has a center of gravity that is located on the centroid of the puck. A push-button switch is held against the membrane-like bottom wall for operation of the switch by a depression of the membrane-like bottom wall. A series of diodes are mounted in the radial holes and are connected to the electronic module, for illuminating rays of lights around the puck.

    摘要: A hockey puck for use on both ice and non-ice surfaces. The puck has a plurality of conically shaped apertures extending at an angle from the top to the bottom of the puck to provide a stabilized cushion of air when the puck is in motion. The cushion of air reduces the friction between the puck and the surface, enabling the puck to remain at a high speed for a longer time period. The puck can be manufactured in a standard weight of 6 ounces for regular use or a lighter puck in the range of 4 to 4.25 ounces for junior hockey, street hockey or roller-hockey use. The annular side surface of the puck can be knurled or dimpled to enhance controllability and aerodynamics. Additionally, the corners of the puck can be rounded to reduce the effect of snow-plowing.

    摘要: A puck retriever has a hollow interior of diameter larger than that of a puck for use in the game of hockey. A ring of rubber or similar resiliently deformable material is located adjacent to the lower end of the tube. The ring has an inner edge which defines a circular inlet of diameter smaller than that of a puck. The ring flexes upward when pressed downward against a puck which is resting on a flat surface with resulting bending upward of the edge and enlargement of the inlet sufficient to allow the puck to pass through the inlet. The ring is of sufficient strength to resist flexing downward under the weight of any pucks within the tube such that the ring prevents pucks within the tube from exiting through the inlet. The ring may be continuous and unbroken throughout its circumference or it may be cut into a number of flaps.

    摘要: This present invention is a sports device for practicing hitting a ball/ball-like object/puck, comprising an arm member mounted rotatably and substantially horizontal on a base in hitting practice mode, with the ball/ball-like object/puck positioned at the outer end of the arm member by a plurality of elastic members. The height of the ball/ball-like object/puck from the surface the hitter stands on is easily adjusted by a plurality of height adjusting members. The preferred embodiment of the arm member is multi-sectional. With the base substantially contiguous to the surface the hitter stands on, the present invention is used to practice driving and chipping in golf; and slap-shot and back-hand in ice hockey; and shooting in field hockey. When practicing hitting in golf and hockey, the player is free from constantly bending to position or retrieve the ball/ball-like object/puck.
