    摘要: An apparatus includes a backing surface that is operable to support a workpiece, and a mounting structure that is operable to move linearly between a first position and a second position. Movement from the first position to the second position is in a direction toward the backing surface. A first engaging part is fixedly connected to the mounting structure for movement in unison with the mounting structure, wherein the first engaging part is operable to engage a first portion of the workpiece. A second engaging part is rotatably connected to the mounting structure such that the second engaging part rotates with respect to the first engaging part in response to movement of the mounting structure from the first position to the second position, wherein the first engaging part is operable to engage a second portion of the workpiece.

    摘要: The present invention provides a bending die in which the fixed die 1 and the rotary die 2 are surface contacted to each other, the rotary die 2 is rotated rearward after press forming to cause the workpiece 3 to be moved away from the die, wherein the contact surface 9 between the fixed die 1 and the rotary die 2 is formed in a flat surface. In addition, the present invention is set such that the rotary center point P of the rotary die 2 is set outside the line 10 drawn from one end C1 of the linear line indicating the contact surface 9 of the rotary die 2 in a direction of right angle in respect to the linear line when the contact surface 9 is seen in a section of a direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotary die 2. With such an arrangement as above, a machining of the contact surface 9 can be facilitated more and under a lower cost than those as compared with those forming the arcuate surface as found in the prior art.

    摘要: The present invention aims to simplify the negative-angle forming die as much as possible thereby reducing price, and at the same time aims to improve accuracy thereby making possible to provide a high-quality sheet-metal formed product. The present invention provides a rotary cam moving apparatus for a negative-angle forming die comprising a lower die half having a supporting portion for placing a sheet metal work, and an upper die half to be lowered straightly downward onto the lower die half for forming the work, an intrusion forming portion formed in the lower die half at an edge portion near the supporting portion inward of a downward stroke line of the upper die half, a rotary cam rotatably provided in the lower die half, a slide cam including an intrusion forming portion and slidably opposed to the rotary cam, and an automatic retractor provided in the lower die half for pivoting the rotary cam back to a position thereby allowing the work to be taken out of the lower die half after a forming operation, the work placed on the supporting portion of the lower die half being formed by the intrusion forming portion of the rotary cam and the intrusion forming portion of the slide cam, the slide cam forming the work by sliding, the automatic retractor pivoting back the rotary cam after the forming operation for allowing the work to be taken out of the lower die half, wherein a flange is formed at an end portion of the work in a direction across an axis of the pivoting, the work then undergoing an intrusion formation, the flange at the end portion of the work being protected from damage caused by retraction of the rotary cam, by dividing the rotary cam into an end rotary cam for placing the flange formed at the end portion of the work and the main rotary cam for the other portion, both of the divided rotary cams being disposed on a same axis of pivoting, the end rotary cam not being pivoted for an initial predetermined period of the retraction, thereafter the end rotary cam being moved axially toward the main rotary cam.

    摘要: This invention is comprised of a lower die having a groove-like cavity formed at its upper surface; a rotary die supported in the cavity of the lower die at both ends thereof by a shaft and rotatably stored in it; an upper die arranged above the rotary die; and a driving device for rotating said rotary die in a downward direction after the upper die is opened and for retracting it. The cavity is formed with some protrusion steps at its inner circumferential surface for use in supporting the rotary die when pressed. The rotary die is formed with a forming part for gathering and bending a metallic plate at its upper surface to be extended in a longitudinal direction of the rotary die. The gathering and bending blade to be fitted to the forming part of the rotary die is formed at the upper die. In the case of the present invention, the aforesaid rotary die is supported at the protrusion steps when pressed while the outer edge of the forming part is being abutted against the upper edge of the lower die and after pressing operation, it is rotated in a downward direction by the driving device.
