摘要： A tool (10) for rotating a screw-on oil filter cartridge, the tool comprising a driving member (28, 28b); gripping jaws (12a, 12b) movable in relation to each other for gripping an oil filter cartridge; a guide arrangement (13, 14a, 14b) for guiding the gripping jaws; means (16a, 16b) for biasing the gripping jaws towards each other; and a driving mechanism (28, 28c, 24, 22a, 22b, 20a, 20b, 21a, 21b) coupled to the driving (28b) member and gripping jaws (12a, 12b) for converting rotation into movement of the gripping jaws towards each other, into engagement with an oil filter cartridge and applying either screwing or unscrewing torque thereto. The tool comprises: a locking mechanism (30, 32, 28, 24) for releasably locking the gripping jaws (12a, 12b) at a pre-determined distance from each other; and a release actuator (28a) for unlocking the locking mechanism and releasing of the gripping jaws.

摘要： A locating structure of an adjustable open wrench including: a main body having a handle and a head section, a first end of the head section being fixedly connected with the handle; a first jaw disposed on a second end of the head section; a second jaw slidably disposed on the second end of the head section and linearly reciprocally movable relative to the first jaw for changing a pitch between two opposite faces of the second and first jaws; an adjustment member including a second rack fixedly disposed at one end of the second jaw, a driving threaded rod with a predetermined guide travel being pivotally located in the head section and engaged with the second rack, whereby via the second rack, the driving threaded rod can be rotated to drive the second jaw to linearly move; and a locating member including a locating body disposed in the head section and reciprocally movable between a locating position and a releasing position. When the locating body is positioned in the locating position, the locating body is engaged with the driving threaded rod. When the locating body is positioned in the releasing position, the locating body is disengaged from the driving threaded rod.

摘要： An adjustable wrench includes two walls disposed on an upper portion of a handle body to define a transversely extending guiding slot therebetween. A driving shaft is rotatably mounted in the guiding slot. Two movable jaws have coupling portions which are coupled respectively to two connecting ends of the driving shaft by force transmitting mechanisms such that a rotational force of the driving shaft about a rotating axis is transmitted to drive the coupling portions to move along the rotating axis toward or away from each other, and two jaw portions which extend outwardly of the guiding slot for gripping a torqued object. By operating a middle portion of the driving shaft, the distance between the jaw portions can be adjusted to permit quick gripping and releasing of the torqued object.

摘要： A wrench includes a handle, a first jaw block pivotally connected a head of the handle, a second jaw block movably connected to the first jaw block to define a variable clamp space between them, and a rotating unit mounted on the first jaw block for adjusting an openness of the clamp space. When using the wrench to tighten or loosen a hex bolt to a certain degree, a user needs only to pull the handle in a direction opposite to that in which a force is applied on the handle to tighten or loosen the hex bolt, so that the clamp space on the first jaw block is caused to instantaneously slip and turn relative to the clamped hex bolt, allowing the user to apply a force on the handle again without the need of repeatedly removing and replacing the wrench from and onto the hex bolt.

摘要： An adjustable open-end wrench is formed with a C-shaped base jaw member having an upper base grip-forming portion and a lower tongue-forming portion which is pivotally connected to an elongated handle. An L-shaped, sliding jaw member has a horizontal leg which is slidably guided between the upper and lower portions of the base jaw member. The sliding jaw member has an upright leg forming a movable grip portion opposing the base grip portion. Corresponding, normally interengaging, tooth-like locking formations are formed on the upper end of the handle and the lower edge of the movable jaw member horizontal leg for normally locking the jaw members relative to each other. The handle may be pivoted to temporarily release the interengaging locking formations so that the movable jaw member may be slidably moved relative to the base jaw member for adjusting the distance between the grip portions to accommodate to different size bolts and nuts.
