Abstract:
A wrench has a socket and a driving structure, and the socket accepts the driving structure. The driving structure has a first end and a second end and a slidable cover. The slidable cover has a main body adjacent to and outside of the socket for limiting movement of the main body between a locking position and an open position on the wrench. When the main body is in the locking position, the main body covers the first end of the driving structure, a threaded member passes through the second end of the driving structure into the socket and is stopped by the main body without exceeding the socket of the wrench; and when the main body is in the open position, the main body exits the first end of the driving structure, the threaded member passes through the first end of the driving structure and exceeds the socket of the wrench.
Abstract:
A ratchet wrench comprising a ratchet head with a cylindrical bore having a central axis; a handle; a drive member (26) with a rotation axis (W-W) retained within the cylindrical bore for rotation about the central axis; and a toothed ratchet pawl (42); a cylindrical array of straight ratchet teeth arranged about one of the cylindrical bore or the drive member; and a pawl recess (36) arranged to support the pawl. The pawl may mesh with the ratchet teeth for transmission of rotation of the handle in a first direction to the drive member about the rotation axis or disengage from the ratchet teeth to decouple rotation of the handle in a second direction from the drive member. Support (37a, 37b, 46, 48, 50) for the pawl in the recess is shaped to accommodate divergence between the central axis and the rotation axis.
Abstract:
A ratchet wrench capable of rotating quickly and driving rotation includes a handle, a rotary head, a positioning mechanism, and a sleeve. The handle includes an arm and a bar body. The bar body includes an accommodating slot; the arm includes a through hole. The rotary head is connected to the arm and includes recess portions. The positioning mechanism includes a positioning element, a resilient body, and a block element. The resilient body receives the positioning element and is received in the through hole, the positioning element is correspondingly disposed in any of the recess portions, and the block element is connected to the positioning element. The sleeve receives the bar body and operably drives the block element to slide in the accommodating slot, so that the positioning element is positioned and selectively engaged with any recess portion.
Abstract:
A driver tool has a grip handle. The grip handle has a grip handle height less than a grip handle width. A first axis base is mounted to the grip handle. The first axis base includes a first saddle flange and a second saddle flange. A pair of primary link pins are mounted to the first saddle flange and the second saddle flange defining a first axis of rotation. A coupler link is mounted on the first axis of rotation to rotate on the first axis of rotation relative to the first axis base. A pair of secondary link pins mounted to the coupler link. The pair of secondary link pins define a second axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the first axis of rotation. A driving link is mounted to the second axis of rotation. The driving link includes a driving socket.
Abstract:
A ratchet wrench includes a handle, a driving head, an engaging member, a spring and a controlling knob. The handle has a receiving groove, a transverse hole in one lateral side of the handle, and a longitudinal hole in a bottom of the receiving groove. The driving head has a connecting portion pivotally connected to the handle. The engaging member is movably received in the longitudinal hole, and has a guiding cutout in a lateral side thereof. The spring is interposed between a bottom of the longitudinal hole and the engaging member. The controlling knob has an abutting block received in the guiding cutout of the engaging member. The abutting block is substantially oblong in shape such that rotational movement of the controlling knob drives the engaging member to be disengaged from the driving head.
Abstract:
A multi-function tool with a fixing function comprises a handle body having a receiving slot; a ratchet handle being a combination of a rod body and a work head, the rod body being pivotally mounted on the receiving slot, and a surface of one end of the rod body having a toothed portion; a mounting, hole formed on an end portion of the handle body and abutting upon the receiving slot; a ball hole formed on a bottom surface of the mounting hole and communicating with the receiving slot; and a positioning assembly constituted by a push block, a spring and a steel ball, the push block surface having a positioning cavity and a release cavity, the push block being connected to the spring and disposed in the mounting hole, the steel ball being disposed in the ball hole. The push block is moved so that the steel ball meshes with the toothed portion of the rod body and the positioning cavity, and the ratchet handle is positioned. The push block is moved so that the steel ball is disposed between the release cavity and the toothed portion, and the ratchet handle can be rotated. Thus, the ratchet handle can change the angle of the handle body and be retracted into the handle body, and the locking mechanism of the positioning assembly can make, the ratchet handle have a stable positioning effect. Abstract:
A torque control wrench assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly includes a handle, a ratchet unit having a first ratchet for rotating in engagement with the handle and a second ratchet engaged with the first ratchet, for transferring rotational force applied from the first ratchet, a transmission unit engaged with the second ratchet, for changing the rotational force transferred from the second ratchet, a socket unit having one end engaged with the transmission unit and the other end engaged with a wheel nut, for tightening or loosening the wheel nut by receiving the rotational force, a housing opened at both ends, and a torque control unit into which the first ratchet is inserted and which is engaged with the housing, covering an opened end of the housing, for controlling the rotational force applied to the socket unit by pressing the first ratchet.
Abstract:
A ratchet wrench includes a reception hole defined through the function end of the wrench and a recess is defined in the inner periphery of the reception hole. A ratchet wheel is rotatably located in the reception hole. A pawl, a restriction member and a resilient member are received in the recess. The two ends of the resilient member respectively contact the pawl and the restriction member to bias the pawl to be engaged with the ratchet wheel. A restriction ring is located in the reception hole and has a rod extending therefrom, the rod extends into the recess. The restriction member is located between the rod and the inner periphery of the recess.
Abstract:
A pass-thru ratchet wrench includes a wrench body. A front end of the wrench body has a head portion. A ratchet is provided in the head portion. The ratchet has a receiving hole to receive a socket. The ratchet has a first neck portion at an upper edge thereof and an annular groove around the outer wall of the first neck portion. The annular groove has a certain depth. The ratchet has a plurality of through holes in annular groove. A C-shaped buckle ring is disposed in the annular groove. The C-shaped buckle ring extends out of the through holes to form a limit portion. The limit portion is adapted to stop the socket, thereby the receiving hole of the ratchet can limit the socket from displacing.
Abstract:
A fastener tool assembly for installing breakaway torque nuts includes a socket having a first end attachable to a driver of a fastening tool. A second end of the socket operably engages a detachable wrenching ring of a breakaway torque nut. A window is formed in a sidewall of the socket, sized and configured to permit at least one wrenching ring to pass therethrough. A catch permits insertion of the wrenching ring into the socket, but prevents the detached wrenching ring from freely falling out of the open end of the socket. A sleeve associated with the window selectively permits passage of one or more detached wrenching rings through the window, or prevents passage of the detached wrenching rings therethrough.
