    摘要: It is to provide a torque driver capable of bringing a marker into direct contact with a surface of a fastener member such as a screw to perform marking.A torque driver 1 is configured such that a case 10 is rotated relative to a main shaft 20 when a tightening force applied to the case 10 is transmitted to the main shaft 20 through a torque limiter section 30 and a tightening torque on a screw 80 engaged with a bit 70 attached to a coupler 60 fixed at a tip portion of the main shaft 20 reaches a torque value set in the torque limiter section 30. The torque driver 1 includes: a marker 54 extending from an inside of the coupler 60 to a tip portion of the bit 70 along a side surface of the bit 70; and a marker activating section 40 that allows the marker 54 to move forward by utilizing rotation of the case 10 relative to the main shaft 20 so that a marker tip portion 53 is brought into contact with the screw 80 to perform marking.

    摘要: An improved combined torque limiting and part marking wrench according to the present invention includes: a torque-applying handle; a housing pivotally mounted to the handle, the housing adapted to receive a releasably mounted, replaceable, part-engaging head assembly at a second end thereof; and a part-marking mechanism mounted within the housing. The part-marking mechanism includes a marking tip which passes through a bore in the head assembly for marking a part. A mechanical linkage arm is pivotally connected to the torque-applying handle. A pivotable cam is pivotally connected to the linkage arm and in operative engagement with the part-marking mechanism for moving the marking tip through the bore, such that, when torque on a part has reached a predetermined value, the torque applying handle moves the linkage arm, which pivots the pivotable cam, thus forcing the pivotable cam against the part marking mechanism, which causes the marking tip to extend outwardly from the housing to mark the part. An alternative torque limiting and part-marking wrench according to the present invention includes a marking tube connected at an angle to the housing and a pair of cammingly engaged plungers which actuate the part-marking mechanism. A load cell may also be included with the electronic push button switch. The load cell will digitally read the force of tension, convert it to torque lbs and display it on a monitor.

    摘要: A marking wrench for hand use has a torque-limiting, over-center type of connection between an operating handle and a remote wrench end pivoted to the handle and engageable with the bolt end of a tubular type headed fitting. The handle fixedly mounts an elongated felt marking pen, whose tip is positioned to one side of the tubular shank of the fitting, in axially spaced relation to the plane of the fitting''s hex head. Hence when a desired torquing stress is attained and the torque-limiting connection yields the marking tip wipes across the shank beneath the fitting''s head, thus marking the fitting as being properly torqued up. An arcuate shield is applied to the wrench end in the plane of the marking tip.

    摘要: In a preferred embodiment, a driver socket is configured to provide a visual indicator on a portion of a locknut upon application of a predetermined torque to the driver socket relative to the locknut. The driver socket has a member which is positioned proximate to the first end, with a portion thereof protruding into an aperture of the driver socket. The member is configured to engage a drive configuration of a locknut in order to apply nut torque to the locknut upon rotation of the drive socket and to form a mark on the drive configuration of the locknut in order to provide a visual indicator on the locknut that the locknut has been subjected to the desired torque during initial assembly. The driver socket is preferably attached to a ratchet arm of a fastening tool which provides a mechanical advantage in applying the desired torque.

    摘要: An elongated socket tool includes a tubular socket member having a cavity for receiving a hexagonal threaded fastener and a drive member having a recess for receiving the square drive stud projected from a torque wrench. The socket member and the drive member are welded to opposite ends of a tubular metal body which also defines a chamber for receiving a marking fluid. A flow restrictor plate is welded between the body and the socket member and has orifices which control the flow of marking fluid from the chamber into a cylindrical wick confined within the socket member. A removable flexible cap normally covers the socket member when the socket tool is not in use.
