摘要： Disclosed is a stapler and a staple to be used in the stapler, by which a slip or the like can be permanently or temporarily fastened with the staple onto ground paper, corrugated cardboard, or the like so that the slip or the like can be easily removed therefrom without taking off the staple. The staple has one supporting portion and one stapling leg portion bent at one end of the supporting portion substantially perpendicularly thereto. The stapler has a staple accommodating portion, wherein a forward one of the staples is always located at a staple drive-out opening formed at the forward end of the staple accommodating portion. The staple accommodating portion has a body and a staple holder mounted in the body. The holder has a side portion disposed so as to form an interval between the side portion and one side wall of the body and a horizontal portion extending substantially horizontally from the upper end of the side portion to the other side wall of the body to thereby hold the supporting portion of the staple. Only the one stapling leg portion pierces ground paper and is bent at the rear surface of the ground paper to nip the ground paper.

摘要： A fastener driving tool includes a magazine comprised of a plurality of fastener slides, each of which carries a fasteners of a different size. The magazine is designed so that an operator may to choose to drive fasteners from any of the fastener slides. In one embodiment, the fastener slides are arranged around a central core. A rod supported by the tool's base and driver fits within the central core and provides an axis of rotation for the magazine. During rotation of the magazine, each slide can be aligned with the driver. Alignment of a slide is maintained by a position locking means. A feed means in each slide forces the fasteners down the slide and into the driver. In another embodiment, the fastener slides are arranged next to one another in the magazine. Each slide can be aligned with the driver by shifting the magazine laterally. A position locking means keeps the magazine in the proper alignment once a particular fastener slide has been chosen. A feed means forces the fasteners down the slide and into the driver.

摘要： A power impact device, particularly for fasteners, comprises a propelling passage, a driver movable in the propelling passage, a magazine for fasteners and crossing the propelling passage, and an abutment arranged for positioning a set of fasteners for separating a frontmost fastener by the driver, the abutment being formed so that only a part of the cross-section of the set of fasteners is supported and so that it is displaceable relative to the propelling passage, the driver having a cross-section which deviates from a cross-section of the propelling passage over a fit tolerance so as to allow narrowing of the propelling passage without preventing movement of the driver and reducing its thickness.
