摘要： Improvements in an interchangeable shaver that accepts a variety of different disposable razors. To retain a disposable razor with a handle the interchangeable shaver has a cavity where the handle of the disposable razor slides into the holder to grip the handle and prevents the disposable razor from rotating as the shaver is drawn up, down and along the back, legs or other area of a person. The adapter angles the disposable razor to provide an optimal shaving angle for maximum hair removal and the closest shave to reduce the frequency of repeat shaving. A further improvement is an adapter that connects the interchangeable shaver to a disposable head. The adapter is configured to accommodate different disposable heads with a single adapter. The shaver has an extendable handle configured to prevent the razor from rotating on the shaft.

摘要： A razor including an elongated shaving cartridge that has at least one blade with a blade edge extending along a transversal axis. The razor includes a razor handle with a handle body having a hollow housing with an opening at its front end and a cartridge carrier that carries the shaving cartridge and is slidably mounted on the handle body between shaving and non-shaving positions. The razor handle also includes an actuator rotatably mounted on the handle body for controlling cartridge carrier motions, and a transmission mechanism that converts actuator rotation into a sliding motion of the cartridge carrier. The opening of the handle body is elongated, with a length sufficient to accommodate the shaving cartridge with the blade edge extending along the transversal axis. In both the shaving and non-shaving positions, and while between the shaving and non-shaving positions, the shaving cartridge extends parallel to the transversal axis.

The razor handle further includes a lock-and-release mechanism to hold a razor head, provided with a release member mounted on the razor head carrier. When the razor head carrier is in the first non-shaving position, the release member is hidden inside the housing to prevent the release of the razor head locked on the razor head carrier.

摘要： A retractable razor assembly includes a foldable blade support for mounting a razor blade or cartridge, and a mounting assembly connected to the blade support that can extend and retract the blade support from a handle and can stabilize the foldable blade support when extended. The adjustment assembly, when extended from the handle, remains substantially stationary to promote stability of the blade or cartridge, and to thereby promote comfort and safety during use of the razor assembly. A packaging system for containing and for displaying operation of the retractable razor includes at least a portion that provides visual inspection of the razor assembly. The packaging system further enables a consumer to physically interact with the razor assembly while contained therein. The packaging system permits a consumer to actuate the adjustment assembly to display its extension and retraction, and to provide a demonstration of the different operating states of the razor assembly.
