    摘要: A movable carriage for a movable, tarp enclosure system includes a main body, plural primary support wheels connected to the main body and configured to engage and roll along support rails while supporting the movable carriage, at least one smaller stabilizing wheel connected to the main body and configured to engage the support rails for stabilizing and/or aligning movement of the movable carriage as it moves along the support rail supported by the primary support wheels, and a housing to which the at least one stabilizing wheel is rotatably secured. The housing is provided with one of a guide track and a channel which securely and sliding receives the guide track therein, the main body is provided with the other of the guide track and the channel, and the housing is secured to main body by engaging the guide track within the channel.

    摘要: A shelter structure for a load deck includes: parallel arches each formed by facing uprights connected together by a cross-member and movable along a guide path between a deployed position of the structure, forming a shelter for the deck, and a more compact folded position releasing at least a portion of the deck; connection elements between the facing uprights of two adjacent arches; and a plurality of spreaders, each connected to an arch by a hinged connection so as to pass from a folded position in which it presses against the arch to a deployed position in which it forms an additional cross-member, and vice versa. The hinge connection, for at least one spreader, is a pivotal connection of the spreader to the arch about an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cross-member, and a sliding connection of the spreader along an upright of the arch.

    摘要: The invention comprises a retractable cover system comprising: a flexible cover. A plurality of supporting bows support the cover A semi-rigid member having first and second ends is secured to the cover section. The semi-rigid member is capable of flexing laterally outward if the system is retracted. This outward action allows the cover or cover sections to consistently fold in the same way and prevents the cover or cover sections from getting caught in the load or in the cover system componentry. The invention also comprises a segmented tube means secured to the bottom portion of the cover between the bows.

    摘要: A tarpaulin tensioning arrangement includes a lever or leg mounted at one end to a framework extension. A crank having a threaded end is threadably engaged to the lever. The framework is moved to a tightened condition by rotating the crank until the lever or leg is engaged with a catch to hold one end of the lever or leg in a fixed position. Continued rotation of the crank causes the framework extension to move in a tensioning direction.

    摘要: A tensioning mechanism for a movable, tarp enclosure system including first, second, and third arms, and first and second support brackets which are all connected together in a substantially triangular, adjustable configuration in which the first arm is rotatable relative to support brackets and when the first arm is rotated, the first bracket moves linearly along the first arm toward and away from the second bracket. The second arm has one end thereof pivotally connected to the first bracket such that the first end of the second arm moves together with the first bracket, the third arm has an engagement member provided on one end thereof which is configured to operatively engage a vertically intermediate portion of an end one of the bows, and the third arm has a length adjusting mechanism for adjusting a length thereof.
