    摘要： A vehicle interior component including decorative stitching along a stitch path includes a seam filler located between a component substrate and an overlying decorative covering. The seam filler lies along the stitch path and supports the decorative covering directly beneath at least a portion of a line of decorative stitching, where the covering may include a reduced thickness portion. The seam filler can have any number of configurations to prevent visual defects along the stitch path and/or to cause the appearance of simulated seams to be more realistic. The seam filler may be deposited along the stitch path as a curable filler material that cures, or it may be provided as a pre-formed piece for attachment to the decorative covering.

    摘要： A drawstringing kit including a needle and a guard is disclosed. The needle includes an eyelet for receiving a drawstring. A tunnel of the damaged product is adapted to receive the needle to facilitate stringing of the drawstring through the tunnel. The guard is positioned about at least a portion of a perimeter of the damaged product. A method for repairing an automotive seat assembly is also disclosed. The method includes the steps of removing a damaged, originally-manufactured drawstring from a tunnel of a seat cover; restringing a replacement drawstring through the tunnel; positioning the seat cover over the seat assembly; and maintaining structural integrity of the replacement drawstring and tunnel. An apparatus for repairing an automotive seat assembly is also disclosed. The apparatus includes drawstringing means including a drawstring retention means and means for maintaining structural integrity of the replacement drawstring.

The connective material may be arranged in a plurality of strips extending across a portion of the interior portion of the anti-slip material and the protective material. The connective material may traverse the interior portion from a first portion of the peripheral region to a second portion of the peripheral region.
