摘要： In described embodiments, a snowboard conversion kit includes a first strap assembly having a first hollow strap sleeve having a first end, a second end, distal from the first end, and a cutout between the first end and the second end. A first strap has a first strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the first end and a second strap end that extends into the first hollow strap sleeve from the second end. The first strap and the first strap sleeve form a loop. A first strap securing assembly is adapted to extend through the first hollow strap sleeve and secure the first hollow strap sleeve to a snowboard. A second strap assembly, similar to the first strap assembly is also provided.

摘要： A wearable sled includes a sled body made out of a substantially thin and flexible polymeric resin. The sled body has a sliding surface for slidably contacting a slippery slope and a user contacting surface for contacting the user body. A pair of shoulder straps allows attachment of the sled body adjacent a first end thereof to the shoulders of the user. A pair of foot straps allows attachment of the sled body adjacent a second end thereof to the feet of the user. The sled body is configured and sized for extending substantially across the width of the user body from the base of the neck region to the feet of the user when the sled body is in a deployed configuration with the shoulder and foot releasable attachment straps attached to the user body.

摘要： A linking system for linking a steering rod to a steering gear in a steerable vehicle. In particular, the steerable vehicle is a snowmobile having a frame, a pair of skis pivotally mounted on the frame, a handlebar rotatably mounted onto the frame, and a linking system for linking the handlebar to the skis for steering the snowmobile. The linking system comprises a drive sprocket mounted for common rotation with the steering rod. It also comprises a chain having a first end and a second end. The chain is trained about the drive sprocket. A pair of driven sprockets redirect the first and second ends of the chain. The chain is trained about the pair of driven sprockets. The system further comprises a sliding rod having a middle portion connected to the first and second ends of the chain, and a pair of end portions connected to the steering gear of the steerable vehicle.
