Abstract:
A collar assembly for a watercraft includes an elongate tubular casing with a lengthwise sealable opening. A foam core is removably positioned in the tubular casing, and includes a body portion and a plurality of circumferentially spaced foam springs that extend outwardly to engage the tubular casing, to bias the foam core towards a center position in the tubular casing. In some embodiments a body portion of the foam core has a circular cross section, and the foam springs are co-formed with the body portion. In some embodiments the foam core comprises a plurality of longitudinal sections that are enclosed in a membrane having an inflation valve that extends through the tubular casing.

Abstract:
A separable boat is disclosed which comprises a covering having a hollow peripheral casing and a flat deck, and a floatable member accommodated in the casing. A slide fastener is applied to fully open and close the casing. The floatable member comprises a plurality of floatable bags which are separably interconnected by slide fasteners, and can be conveniently carried separately from the covering.
Abstract:
A craft includes a rigid hull (1) that consists of a V-shaped bottom (5) and a bridge (4) on which a load can rest. The hull includes plating consisting of compartmentalized pneumatic floats (2), the rear compartments (32) of which are combined with an inflation and deflation system so as to vary the buoyancy of the craft. The craft also includes a submergible hull (1), the central cavity (9) of which is formed between the bottom (5) and the bridge (4) and is open at the rear so as to be automatically filled or emptied, the central cavity (9) containing at least one bag (10) that is combined with an inflation and deflation system enabling the buoyancy to be varied and consequently the level of immersion of the stern (7) to be changed as needed.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a naval rescue vessel, comprising a propulsion unit (1) powered by a water jet and a hull unit (200), wherein said hull unit is at least partly flexible and wherein said propulsion unit (100) is arranged to form a rigid unit, and wherein the two units (100, 200) are interconnected to form a naval rescue vessel intended to be handled/manoeuvred by a single rescuer, wherein the interconnection (130, 205) between the two units (100, 200) is arranged to provide a releasable connection of the units.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a prefabricated boat. The prefabricated boat comprises a body part being composed of a plurality of division members capable of being assembled, an armor part for wrapping around and fixing the body part assembled into a single body, and an air tube mounted on a desired position of the inner face of the armor part. The armor part has the form of a bag and is provided with an opening for receiving the plurality of division members constituting the body part. Air is injected into the air tube to expand it in the state that the armor part wraps around the body part. Due to the expansion force of the air tube, the division members constituting the body part are fixed firmly, thereby preventing the relative movements between the division members.
Abstract:
A watercraft comprising an inflatable skin operable to define a hull shape when inflated, and a frame comprising an extendible rigid keel member engageable with the inflatable skin to stretch the inflatable skin to define a rigid keel form in the inflatable skin. The frame may further comprise chine or gunwale stiffeners connectable to the keel member to extend lengthwise along or over port and starboard sides of the inflatable skin. The inflatable skin may further comprise bow and stern connectors for connecting the inflatable skin to the frame at a bow and a stern of the watercraft, respectively. The keel member of the frame when extended defines the rigid keel form, which curves upward at the bow and stern. The chine and gunwale stiffeners of the frame when expanded resist the upward curvature of the bow and stern, leading to a longer waterline and a faster watercraft.
Abstract:
Inflatable small craft including at least one inflatable tube (1) forming two substantially parallel branches (2) meeting towards the front to form a stem (3), a bottom sheet (5) forming a V-shaped hull held taut by a longitudinal keel (6) which is interposed between a bottom (4) which is rigid in the transverse direction held along the two aforementioned branches (2) and the bottom sheet (5) which is connected to the tube (1) along the peripheral edges of the bottom (4). The craft additionally includes two auxiliary floats (7) running under the bottom (4) substantially parallel to the respective branches (2) while being offset towards the center with respect to these branches. The auxiliary floats extend close to the branches while being physically separate from them.
