摘要： Disclosed is an anchor having a fluke, a shank that is connected to the fluke, and a coupling to attach the fluke to an anchor line or anchor chain, wherein the shank has two shank legs each having a straight shank plate with an outer surface that extend on the opposite sides of the plane of symmetry of the anchor and that diverge from the coupling towards the fluke, wherein the fluke has two straight penetration plates with a top surface on the opposite sides of the plane of symmetry of the anchor, wherein the orientation of the outer surfaces with respect to the top surfaces is specified by three angles under narrow ranges to provide excellent penetration properties and an excellent holding capacity.

摘要： There is disclosed an anchor for anchoring boats in areas where there are reefs or a rocky seabed. In one embodiment four prongs extend from the end of an anchor shaft, the prongs including stem section with terminating portions making an arcuate angle with corresponding stem section. The stem sections are fixedly attached to the shaft and angled relative to the shaft axis in order that the free end of the terminating portion is longitudinally offset from the end of the shaft and radially offset also. The longitudinal offset being substantially greater than the radial offset.

摘要： An anchor for tethering a small boat has a body provided with flukes adapted removably to be embedded in the ground along a body of water at an angle of about 45null to the vertical. The body has a flange which overlies a portion of the body and the flange has a bridge juncture with the body that facilitates embedding the flukes at such angle. Each movable arm is mounted on the shank by a polygonal hole in the center of the arm. The upper end of the shank is enlarged to prevent removal of the movable arms from the anchor's shank. The upper portion of the shank beneath its enlarged upper end is a cylinder sized to permit each of the movable arms to rotate about the upper cylindrical portion of the shank. The outer surface of the lower portion of the shank between its cylindrical portion and the anchor's fixed arm consists of several identical elongated rectangles which in cross section forms a regular polygon slightly larger than the polygonal hole in the center of the movable arms.
