摘要： Anchor fluke (1) having a hollow plate-shaped body, with attachment means for a shank and/or anchor lines, with longitudinal axis and a front penetration edge (3) and a rear trailing edge (4), which are located at a distance from one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis, wherein the fluke has a place of symmerty that contains the longitudinal axis and is substantially perpendicular to the plate-shaped body,wherein the hollow plate-shaped body comprises an upper surface (2a) with a centre of gravity and a lower surface (2b) which surfaces are bounded by the penetration edge, the trailing edges and the lateral edges (5a, 5b) and wherein said body, at lower side, substantially between the edges, is provided with means belonging to the lower surface for counteracting a rolling movement about the longitudinal axis during penetration of the anchor fluke in an anchorage ground, and with vertical trailing edges (13a, 13b) for counteracting a yawning movement about an axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and is located in the plane of symmetry during penetration in an anchorage ground.

摘要： A marine anchor comprises a fluke with a shank attached to the fluke to enable the anchor to be joined to an anchor cable. Additionally there is provided a soil barrier plate located aft of the rear of the fluke but above the level of the fluke, with a soil passage between the barrier plate and the fluke. The barrier plate is set an angle to the fluke, and the barrier plate and the associated soil passage are arranged so as to function in a manner enabling the anchor to operate effectively and without adjustment in cohesive soils such as mud even when the fluke is set (say at an attack angle 0.degree. of 30.degree.) for optimum operation in non-cohesive soils such as sand, without substantially detracting from the performance of the anchor in non-cohesive (sand) soils.

摘要： What is proposed in accordance with the invention is a sea anchor so arranged, after having been dropped, as to be capable of gliding obliquely forwards through the water along a flat, inclined plane so as to land on the bottom in a holding position at a considerable horizontal distance from the boat or vessel which dropped the anchor. For this purpose the shank of the anchor is combined with a transverse wing corresponding to the pair of arms of the conventional anchor. The wing has a marked `V` form and is noticeably swept back, causing it to adopt a stable attitude during its glide through the water, in conjunction with which it takes with it an achor rope which further stabilizes its glide. The wing as a whole is preferably pivotally connected to the anchor leg, for example by means of a pivot bolt, in which case the central section of the wing is extended rearwards to a spade-like, tapering structure which ends in a point. The arrangement is such that, once the anchor has reached the bottom and when a pull is applied to the anchor rope, the wing will be folded out from the anchor leg, when its rearward-tapering section will act as an anchor fluke and will dig into the bottom in the same way as previously disclosed anchors with folding flukes.
