The easy-peel seal an elongated shape that defines a convex portion which projects away from the enclosed space. When opening the package by pulling apart the opposing walls thereof as by grasping and pulling a plurality of flaps, the effective peeling force increases at least 5 N as the package is opened.

摘要： A reclosable package is described that includes a package integrity feature defined by an inner film layer of the package. The package integrity feature includes a first die cut portion and a second die cut portion that both extend from a main die cut portion at least partially defining the opening of the package. The first and second die cut portions are continuous with each other and with the main die cut portion, such that they are defined by a single cut line. In some cases, the package integrity feature includes a neck region that tears when the package is opened and an anchor region that resists delamination. Because the first and second die cut portions are continuously formed with each other, the anchor region may have a circular or elliptical shape and is, thus, easier and more consistently manufactured, allowing for better performance.

摘要： A flexible package and method for manufacturing thereof is provided. The flexible package includes a first layer of adhesive material disposed on an interior surface of the rear panel of the package. The adhesive material of the first layer includes at least one visual indicator formed by at least one area of predetermined shape that is more translucent than adjacent areas of the adhesive material of the first layer. A second layer of adhesive material is disposed on an interior surface of the front panel. The second layer of adhesive material is located opposite the first layer of adhesive material. When the flexible package is not completely sealed, the visual indicator in the adhesive material of the first layer is not visible through the adhesive material of the second layer. When the flexible package is sealed, the visual indicator is visible through the second layer of adhesive material.

摘要： A bag having a tamper evident closure and methods of forming the same are provided. The bag has a tube body with a front wall and a back wall positioned between a first end and a second end. A back flap extension member connects to and extends outwardly from the second end of the back wall. A primer material is positioned on the back flap extension member and an adhesive material is placed on the back flap extension member that folds over to overlie and contact the primer material. The back flap extension member adheres to the front flap extension member and portions of the front wall to close the second end. When the back flap extension member liftingly separates from the front wall, at least one of the back flap extension member and the front wall tears indicating evidence of tampering.
