摘要： A collapsible cord holder is an apparatus that is specifically designed to prevent entanglements when unwinding an existing cord bundle. The collapsible cord holder accomplishes this through the use of an extendable arm assembly that is pivotally coupled to a handle assembly and secured in both an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration through a locking mechanism. The arm assembly is able to arcuately expand beyond the diameter of the cord bundle in order to apply tension facilitating the unwinding of the cord bundle. The handle assembly permits an axial rotation of the cord bundle mounted on the collapsible cord holder in order to facilitate unwinding and prevent entanglements. The locking mechanism provides a secure engagement in the expanded configuration allowing the apparatus to transition into the collapsed configuration.

摘要： A winder in which the jaws of the mandrel expand automatically by the weight of the reel, without introducing external energy. The winder has a mandrel of horizontal axis (A) whose jaws are expandable by means of links hinged to the end of a sliding pull rod and connected to the frame by a hinged connecting rod. The winder includes a rocker connected to the frame by a fixed pivot axis (D) and to the mandrel by the physical embodiment of the axis of rotation (A), the two axes (D, A) are parallel. The rocker moves the mandrel vertically between a raised loading position and a lowered use position under the weight of a reel and it brings about, simultaneously, sliding of the pull rod, automatic expansion of the jaws, and automatic clamping of the reel.

The legs are movable between a collapsed position in which the legs are alinged one over the other and an in use position in which the legs are crossed. The collapsible reel includes a flat base. A pair of inverted generally V-shaped rods are pivotably mounted to the base. The rods are movable between an in use position in which the rods stand upright on the base and a collapsed position in which the rods lie next to the base. The hook interconnects the reel and the stand, so that when the stand and the reel are in their respected in use positions, the reel rotates freely within the legs and when the stand and the reel are in their respective collapsed positioned, the apparatus is flat.

摘要： An improved electrical cable reel is provided which quickly and easily loads and unloads a coil of wire. The reel has an outer circular plate coupled to a vertical post for rotation about a horizontal axis. Four spaced, radially movable fingers adjacent the plate simultaneously retract inwardly as the plate is turned to a coil loading position. Once the wire coil is in place, means are provided for selectively releasing the fingers for radially outward movement under the influence of a set of springs. Consequently, the fingers rapidly engage the coil at its inner core. Subsequently, a clutch means may be operated to render the reel rotatable in either direction. The maintenance-free operating structure is safely and conveniently placed out of reach. Advantageously, the reel is mounted on a four wheeled electrical cart containing a measuring device and a wire cutter, such that various coils may be quickly changed for use on the cart.
