    摘要: The platform of a stairlift is moved along a rail in a stairwell. During the movement, the platform is automatically rotated relative to the rail about a vertical shaft, at angles depending on a position of the platform along the rail. The stairway contains, for instance, a virtually straight part and a bend, wherein the platform is rotated, at positions in the bend, at an orientation or orientations which make a smaller angle with a part of the rail going downstairs than an orientation of the platform in the straight part. In a stairwell with a wider part and a narrower part, wherein the stairwell is insufficiently wide to let the platform rotate through, at a position preceding the entering of the narrower part, the platform is rotated at an angle from which the platform can be rotated to a position for getting on and off in the narrower part without obstruction from walls of the stairwell.

    摘要: An incline lift unit (2) comprises a conveying unit (5), a load unit (4) which is rotatably connected to the latter, a positioning device (20), and a locking device (100). The positioning device is designed to turn the load unit with respect to the conveying unit in such a manner that, in use, the load unit assumes a desired load orientation relative to the force of gravity. The locking device comprises a locking means (133). The locking means locks the rotatable connection between the load unit and the positioning device if the load unit has assumed an undesirable load orientation. The locking device comprises a reference element (131) which is movable with respect to the load unit and the conveying unit, its position with respect to the load unit being determined by the direction of the force of gravity. The load unit is able to assume at least a neutral position and a locking position at the desired and undesired load orientation, respectively, with respect to the reference element. The reference element is mechanically connected to the locking means. The reference element activates the locking means in the locking position.

A seat is pivotally mounted to the carriage and an actuating device is used for turning the seat relative to the carriage.     摘要: A chairlift providing a seat for transporting a passenger along a rail inclined at a substantially uniformly angle, includes a chair assembly with a base housing a motor unit and a carriage supporting the chair assembly in a substantially upright position for movement along the rail and being positionable relative to the chair assembly to provide a spatial relationship therebetween for accommodating the angle of the inclined rail. The chairlift further includes a swivel mechanism incorporating a sliding component and a swivel component for enabling the seat to move along an arcuate path relative to the base, between a transport position and offset access positions. The chairlift also includes a safety interlock for locking the seat in the transport position and for disabling chairlift operations unless the seat is locked in the transport position.
