    摘要： A soap cake comprising a thin support plate permanently fixed between a pair of soap halves which are integrated through openings in the plate. The plate extends peripherally from the soap halves providing a flange for better purchase. In another form, an elastic, sponge-like cover is stretched over the soap cake and permanently secured to the support plate flange. An alternative method of making the covered soap cake is taught wherein the stretchable container is used as a form of expansible mold for injecting thereinto liquid or plastic soap.
