    摘要: A boom lockout device for use with a hydraulic front shovel comprising a first half and a second half, each of which comprises a flat ceiling and two flat side walls. The ceiling is situated between the two side walls and is joined to the two side walls along a longitudinal edge of the ceiling. The angle between the ceiling and each of the two side walls is approximately ninety degrees. The first half and the second half are bolted together around the cylinder rod. The boom lockout device is installed between the barrel and the mount of the boom cylinder to prevent the rod from retracting into the barrel.

    摘要: A boom-extending wire locking structure has a wire locking tool, provided at a base end side of a first boom member and/or a base end side of a third boom member, that locks an extending wire by winding a lock part of each wire member. The wire locking tool includes: a pair of fixing pieces provided on both sides in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to a boom-extending direction and fixed to the first boom member and/or the third boom member; and wire locking parts, provided between the pair of fixing pieces, including arch-shaped grooves for winding the respective lock parts of the wire members. The wire locking parts are arranged in a central axis direction of the arc shape between the pair of fixing pieces. Central axes of the wire locking parts are arranged at different positions in the orthogonal direction from respective adjacent wire locking parts.

A boom structure includes a pair of arms pivotably connecting the boom structure to the frame. A pressurized fluid system is operably associated with the boom structure for raising and lowering jointly each of the arms along a path of travel adjacent a corresponding side member. A stop member selectably extends outwardly from at least one of the side members between a locking position and a retracted position, the locking position extending at least a portion of the stop member into the path of travel of a corresponding arm of the boom structure to prevent a lowering movement of the boom structure beyond a predetermined height. A boom lock system prevents the fluid system from applying a fluid force to lower the boom structure when the stop member is in the locking position.

    摘要: A latch mechanism for securing a backhoe loader stabilizer arm in a stowage position. The latch mechanism comprises of a first portion attached to the machine frame and a second portion attached to the stabilizer arm. The first portion is a receptacle having two parallel members of a resilient material. The second portion is a probe having a head and a shank. The latch mechanism automatically engages and disengages as the arm approaches or departs the stowage position by the force applied in moving the stabilizer arm. The latch secures the stabilizer arm in the stowage position from external forces insufficient to disengage the latch.

    摘要: A tractor-loader-backhoe is disclosed wherein the loader mechanism is mounted on the frame of the prime mover by a tapered pivot pin having a fastener extending entirely through the axis of the pivot pin to effect a clamping load operable to seat the tapered pivoted in the conical hub affixed to the frame of the prime mover to assure a firm fastening of the loader mechanism on the prime mover. The backhoe mechanism is provided with a transport lock remotely accuatable from the operator's cab mounted on the prime mover and incorporating a locking pin having a concentric spring mounted thereon to urge the pin out of engagement with the frame whenever the transport lock is disengaged to permit operation of the backhoe mechanism. The boom and dipper members of the backhoe mechanism are constructed from a pair of opposing C-shaped channels having inwardly directed legs centrally located within the boom and dipper members. The opposingly facing channel members form a longitudinally extending seam to facilitate welding of the two channel members constructing the boom and dipper members.

    摘要: The boom of a backhoe is hinged to one end of a two-position cradle-like tilt member. The base of a single control cylinder is hinged to the other end and the piston is pivotally secured to the boom to swing it so that boom and control cylinder do not mutually interfere but allow for more stable transport and deeper working range. The cradle is pivotally mounted near its center on a swing tower, adjustable in azimuth. The cradle is caused to move to its end positions by control of the boom and its load. Actuating means for the dipper arm of the backhoe is secured between arm and the boom. Suitable locks are provided for securing the cradle in the transport and working positions.

The boom lock includes a slotted coupling joint on the swing frame, and a deflectable cable assembly which extends cantileverably from the boom assembly for automatically interlockingly engaging the slotted coupling joint in response to pivotal movement of the boom assembly to the retracted position. A release mechanism can be manually manipulated from an operator station to conveniently disengage the cable assembly from the slotted coupling joint.
