摘要： A tool for applying a cementitious mixture to a flat surface includes a head assembly for delivering the mixture to the flat surface. A housing is provided for containing a supply of the mixture and a control assembly is interposed between the housing and the head assembly for controlling the flow of the mixture from the housing to and through the head assembly. The control assembly is responsive to the housing being pressed against the flat surface to control the angle of the head assembly relative to the control assembly and to control the flow of the mixture through the head assembly.

The knife blade is coupled to the handle and has a first edge and a second edge. The first edge is configured to conform to a bottom surface of the container. The second edge is configured to conform to an interior wall of the container. An oblique angle is formed by the first edge and the second edge. Another oblique angle is formed between the primary axis of the handle and the first edge of the knife.

摘要： A spackling tool for applying spackling compound to sheetrock, the spackling tool includes a handle with a curved slot defined therein and a blade having a fixed edge secured in the curved slot of the handle so as to form a non-planar surface. The blade has a non-linear free edge disposed opposite its fixed edge. The spackling tool may be used on either butt or tapered joints for readily applying spackling compound over the taped joint and removing any excess without disturbing the finished edge of applied spackling compound. A spackling pan is also presented having at least one non-linear free edge for accommodating spackling tools having a non-planar blade with a non-linear free edge.

摘要： A system for patching a destination surface to match an existing texture pattern. The system comprises texture material, a tube member, and a sponge member. The texture material comprises a base, a carrier, and particulate material. The tube member contains the texture material and defines a container opening through which the texture material may flow. The sponge member defines an applicator surface and a sponge opening. The sponge member is secured relative to the tube member, and the texture material is forced out of the tube member through the container opening and the sponge opening and onto the applicator surface. The applicator surface of the sponge member is brought into contact with the destination surface to transfer texture material on the applicator surface to the destination surface.
