摘要: A ground breaking machine has a housing and the housing has oppositely disposed end plates which have aligned axial female openings and matching male plate portions positioned in the female openings. The female opening is defined by a side edge having top and oppositely disposed vertical spaced apart side edge portions. Each of the vertical side edge portions terminate in a laterally inwardly extending portion having an upperwardly extending hook portion engageable with a downwardly extending hook portion on the male plate portion for interlocking the female and male hook portions to prevent separation thereof and separation of the male plate portion in the female opening.The method of assembly and mounting the cutter drum in the housing includes the steps of providing a housing having oppositely disposed end plates including aligned axial openings and matching male plate portions for being positioned in the female openings. The cutter drum has a gear drive mounted in an end of the cutter drum and is provided with a hydraulic motor on one of the male plate portions. The cutter drum is positioned under the housing and the male plate portion having the hydraulic motor is positioned in the female opening in an end plate. The hydraulic motor on the male plate portion is connected to the gear drive in the end of the cutter drum.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a mobile mining machine which may comprise a movable machine base frame, a rotatable tool drum and including excavating tools. The mobile mining machine may further comprise a cantilever unit including a front support arm part and a base part, and a pivotal device to pivot the cantilever unit. The mobile mining machine may further comprise a tilt device to tilt the cantilever unit and a rotary mechanism to rotate the support arm part and the tool drum. Thus, a mobile mining machine with which tunnels, galleries or shafts may be continuously driven in even in hard rock with a high mining output and low tool wear may be provided.

摘要: A method for operating a milling machine is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input identifying a leg of a plurality of legs of the milling machine. Further, the method includes determining a height of the leg based on the receiving of the input identifying the leg. The height of the leg being determined based on position data of the leg. The position data being obtained by a first sensor. Further, the method includes determining, by the controller and based on the determining the height of the leg, that a height of other legs of the plurality of legs is to be adjusted. Thereafter, the method includes adjusting the height of the other legs of the plurality of legs to the height of the leg. The height of the other legs being adjusted based on the determined height of the leg.

摘要: A long wall mining machine includes a drum cutter-loader and face conveyor wherein the drum cutter-loader is overhung and is supported by a support arm adjacent to the mine face. Nozzles direct high pressure liquid jets against the forward edge of the support arm to cut away the mining face and permit the face side support arm to advance as the mining machine advances. In one embodiment the nozzles are provided along an inclined cutting edge at the forward end of the support arm. Such nozzles may be fixed or oscillating. In an alternative embodiment the nozzles are provided in the cylindrical edge zone of the shearer drum and direct the high pressure fluid jets against the cutter edge at the forward end of the support arm.

摘要: A rotatable cutting drum of a mineral mining machine is supported by a pivotable arm and is operably associated with a blade or the like which is positionable to assist in loading mineral detached by the drum. The blade is carried on a ring-like support which is itself mounted for pivoting about the axis of the drum to position the blade. Apparatus serves to couple the blade and its support selectively to the drum when it is desired to re-position the blade so that the latter moves around the axis of rotation of the drum with the drum itself. The apparatus is composed of piston and cylinder units provided in the blade support. The piston rods of these units extend outwardly from either side of the blade support and carry first and second abutment or friction rings. These respective friction rings either couple the blade support to the arm supporting the drum or to the drum. Hydraulic fluid is admitted to the units to bring the associated first friction ring into contact with the drum when the blade is to be re-positioned. The hydraulic force is opposed by restorative spring force which biases the pistons of the units so that the second friction ring normally clamps the blade support to the arm supporting the drum.

摘要: A support arm for a cutter drum carried on a longwall mining machine characterized in being formed from two telescoping parts, at least one of which is movable axially relative to the other to change the length of the arm. This enables the mining machine to cut material from a coal seam with one support arm length and roadways at opposite ends of the seam face with longer support arm lengths without the necessity for raising the mining machine on its support tracks in the roadway areas or otherwise adjusting the vertical heights of the support arms.
