    摘要: A coolant system includes a multistage compressor having a plurality of surge detection sensors. A condenser is connected to an outlet of the multistage compressor. An economizer is connected to an outlet of the condenser and has a gaseous coolant outlet and a liquid coolant outlet. The liquid coolant outlet is connected to a cooler and the gaseous coolant outlet is connected to a second or later stage of the multistage compressor via a controllable valve. A controller is communicatively coupled to the surge detection sensors and the controllable valve. The controller includes a non-transitory medium storing instructions for causing the controller to detect an occurrence of a surge and restricting a flow through the controllable valve until the surge has ceased.

    摘要: The leak detection appliance has a test inlet to which a test chamber containing the test specimen can be connected. A high-vacuum pump produces a high vacuum in a test gas detector. A backing pump contains two pump stages. In order to evacuate the test chamber, the pump stages are operated in parallel mode, with their suction capabilities being added. When the necessary vacuum has been achieved, the pump stages are operated in series in order to produce the necessary high vacuum which is required for high detection sensitivity on the test gas detector.

The setpoint is determined dynamically during operation of the two or more compressors by the load sharing controller based on a load sharing parameter associated with the two or more compressors.

    摘要: A bleed valve assembly for discharging bleed air into a gas turbine engine bypass plenum includes a bleed flow duct, a bleed valve, and a flow deflector. The bleed flow duct is contoured such that it delivers uniformly flowing bleed air to the flow deflector when the bleed valve is in the open position. The flow deflector has a plurality of openings formed therein. Each opening fluidly communicates the bleed air flow passage with the bypass plenum. A portion of the openings are oriented at a discharge angle such that bleed air is discharged from each opening in a direction that does not have a vector component in the direction in which air is flowing in the bypass plenum, and another portion of the openings are oriented to provide stress relief to the deflector.

The control system determines an unstable operating condition in response to signals indicating the motor current or power consumption of each compressor and the position of the pre-rotation vanes of the compressors. Once an unstable operating condition is determined, the control system closes the pre-rotation vanes to each compressor until the unstable operating condition has been corrected.
