A second pipe circuit for transferring the medium from a storage space to the toroidal space. The second pipe circuit transfers the medium to the toroidal space via a second inlet which is arranged separately relative to a corresponding first inlet to the first pipe circuit.

    摘要: A hydrodynamic retarder is provided having a rotor blade wheel, which has a number (ZR) of blades, and a stator blade wheel, which has a number (ZS) of blades. The rotor blade wheel and the stator blade wheel together form a toroidal working chamber in which torque is transmitted from the rotor blade wheel to the stator blade wheel by means of a working medium. The blades have a profile with an inner diameter (DI) and an outer diameter (DA). The mean number of the blades (Zm), which results from half of the sum of the number of rotor blades (ZR) and the number of stator blades (ZS) multiplied by the profile shift factor (f v) is fixed, depending on the working medium.

    摘要: The invention relates to a hydrodynamic machine, especially a hydrodynamic retarder, comprising two blade wheels which are opposite of one another in such a way that they jointly form a toroidal working chamber which can be filled with a working medium in order to hydrodynamically transfer torque by means of a cycle flow of the working medium in the working chamber from the first blade wheel to the second blade wheel, with the first blade wheel rotating about a rotation axis and the second blade wheel rotating about the same rotation axis in the same direction of rotation or opposite of the direction of rotation of the first blade wheel, or being held in a stationary manner. The invention is characterized in that at least one of the two blade wheels is subdivided in the region of its blades into at least two concentric rings.
