    摘要： A container having an open upper end is provided with a moisture permeable film member disposed inside the container in such a manner that two outer surfaces of the film member face two mutually opposing inner surfaces of the container, and with a pair of electrodes disposed in the gaps formed between these inner and outer surfaces. A food material, a suitable amount of electrolyte and a suitable amount of water are placed within the moisture permeable film member, and they are then cooked by being subjected to warming or heating by supplying electricity to the electrodes so that current flows therebetween.

    摘要： A microwave oven in which the oven chamber is defined by upper and lower portions each generally triangular in section and which is provided with efficient microwave reflecting and distributing arrangements. The lower portion is defined by a main casing and the upper portion, which includes the oven chamber front and top walls, is defined by a concave portion in a door assembly which is hinged along a rear edge portion and may be pivoted upwards to open positions and downwards to a closed position. When in a completely opened position the door assembly exposes the top and front of the oven, whereby insertion or removal of food may be effected through the top or front of the oven, and the oven permits convenient use when placed at different levels.

    摘要： A three-position, sliding latch mechanism for an appliance door such as an oven door. The mechanism includes a latch handle and a hidden latching bolt for swinging out and engaging the door. The first position of the latch mechanism is an unlocked position, and the second position is a locked position. The third position is also a locked position, although the latching bolt remains stationary in this locked position as the latch handle is moved between the second and third positions. There are separate interlock switch means that are operable in either the first (unlocked) or the second and third (locked) positions, whereby different oven operations may be performed as a function of the various positions of the latch handle so as to simplify the control circuitry and components.
