摘要: Described herein are methods of manufacturing an at-shore water-based apparatus for liquefaction of natural gas. In some cases, the methods can include determining a weight of an air-cooled electrically driven refrigeration system (“AER System”); locating a ballast medium in a hull where the ballast medium has a simulated weight approximate to the weight of the AER System; determining a deflection of the hull caused by the simulated weight; moving the ballast medium off the hull while attaching the AER System; assembling a plurality of liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) storage tanks in the hull; and coupling the AER System with the LNG storage tanks. The ballast medium can be moved off the hull such that the weight of the ballast medium supported by the hull is reduced in order to maintain the deflection of the hull while the AER System is attached.

摘要: In a method for separating a flow containing at least 95 mol % of carbon dioxide and at least one impurity lighter than carbon dioxide by distillation, the flow is cooled to a first intermediate temperature between those of the cold end and the hot end of a heat exchange means in order to form a liquid flow at a first temperature and a first pressure and it is split into at least two to form a first fraction and a second fraction, the first fraction is expanded to the pressure of a distillation column, referred to as second pressure, which is lower than the first pressure, and it is sent to an intermediate level of the distillation column, the second fraction is cooled in the heat exchange means to the cold end thereof, it is expanded to the pressure of the distillation column and is sent to a level of the distillation column above the point of arrival of the first fraction, a liquid flow containing at least 99 mol % of carbon dioxide is withdrawn from the bottom of the column, and a fraction of the liquid flow is pressurized in a pump and sent to the top of the column.

摘要: A SPECTRA process for low-temperature fractionation of air is proposed, in which bottoms liquid from an additional second rectification column used to obtain oxygen is evaporated in a second condenser evaporator arrangement. In this second condenser evaporator arrangement, gas that has been evaporated beforehand in a first condenser evaporator arrangement, which is used for condensation of tops gas from a first rectification column, is partially condensed after recompression. The invention also relates to a corresponding plant.

摘要: A system for removing freezing components from a feed gas includes a heat exchanger, a scrub column and a return vapor expansion device. The heat exchanger includes a reflux cooling passage and a return vapor passage. Vapor from the scrub column is directed through the return vapor expansion device, where the temperature and pressure are lowered. The resulting cooled fluid then travels to the return vapor passage of the heat exchanger and is used to cool a vapor stream in the reflux cooling passage to create a reflux fluid stream that is directed to the scrub column.

摘要: A carbon dioxide capture system includes a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between an exhaust stream and a lean carbon dioxide effluent stream. The carbon dioxide capture system also includes a first turboexpander including a first compressor driven by a first turbine. The first compressor is coupled in flow communication with the first heat exchanger. The first turbine is coupled in flow communication with the first heat exchanger and configured to expand the lean carbon dioxide effluent stream. The carbon dioxide capture system further includes a carbon dioxide membrane unit coupled in flow communication with the first compressor. The carbon dioxide membrane unit is configured to separate the exhaust stream into the lean carbon dioxide effluent stream and a rich carbon dioxide effluent stream. The carbon dioxide membrane unit is further configured to channel the lean carbon dioxide effluent stream to the first heat exchanger.
