    Abstract: A fluid flow monitor is disclosed which indicates positive flow of fluids through conduit, tubing and the like. It is particularly adapted to indicate flow of colorless fluids within a transparent viewing chamber. The visual indication of positive fluid flow is the rotation of an impeller within the viewing chamber. The impeller, in combination with the device as a whole is designed to minimize restriction on fluid flow, including at any time that impeller motion is retarded or otherwise prevented.

    Abstract: An air flow testing device for use with a clothes dryer to indicate an obstruction in the exhaust system. Three potential states of exhausted air are monitored by the testing device when the dryer's lint screen is removed from its opening. In the first state, when the exhaust system is unobstructed, an impeller of the device freely turns within a casing held against the lint screen opening as the dryer is operating. In the second state, when the exhaust system is blocked, the same impeller remains static and does not rotate. In the third state when the exhaust system is partially blocked, the impeller moves and may stop. If either a fully or partially blocked state is detected, a user can simply clear the system including the tubing and flapper to resolve this common dryer problem without calling in a repair person.

    Abstract: A sight flow product includes a body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The fluid inlet and fluid outlet are designed to be connected in-line to fluid pipes within a manufacturing plant or other facility. A cartridge can be located within and conform substantially to a cavity in the body. One or more window assemblies are removably mounted on sides or ends of the body to retain and locate the cartridge within the body cavity. The cartridge can be removed from the body and replaced when either of the window assemblies has been removed. Each of the window assemblies includes a transparent window to allow visual inspection of fluid flow through the sight flow product. A fluid sensing device e.g., a flapper, rotor or condensation drip tube, can be mounted within the cartridge by connection to the cartridge itself or by connection to opposed alignment washers in the window assemblies to facilitate visually inspecting the fluid flow in the sight flow product.
