摘要:
A system (30) for remotely controlling the operation of a camera (10) having a video signal tap and a lens having lens focus, zoom and T-stop adjustment motors (24, 26, 28). A digital motor driver unit (32) is connected to and controls the camera and the lens motors. A portable digital controller (34) has either a hardwire (36) or wireless connection to the motor driver unit and is sized for holding in one hand. The controller has separate controls (52, 62, 66, 70) that are manually adjustable for controlling the motor driver unit to separately and independently control the camera and the lens motors. The controller also has a display screen (56) for selectively displaying a scene from the video signal tap of the camera or data from the lens motors. The system includes a memory and processing means for selective operation with a plurality of different cameras and lenses and to calibrate the lenses to the controller and motor driver unit.

An electric eye exposure apparatus includes an exposure meter interlocked with drive means and a switching mechanism for selectively connecting the drive means either to a shutter blade operating mechanism or to a diaphragm aperture control mechanism. The drive means further cooperates with a shutter speed governor. The exposure apparatus permits control of both the diaphragm aperture and shutter speed to be selected between at least two of a variety of optional exposure procedures including electric eye exposures of a programmed type, an electric-eye followed shutter speed type, an electric-eye followed diaphragm opening type, as well as an exposure of a manually-selected shutter speed and diaphragm opening type.

A camera shutter mechanism wherein depression of a release button causes a connecting lever to be horizontally displaced over a distance dependent upon the angular position of the needle of an exposure meter, the position being indicative of the brightness of a subject, so that as the horizontal position of the connecting lever is displaced, the angular position of an aperture control cam is varied. When the release button is further depressed, a drive pawl is adapted to cause a flywheel to rotate so that a control pin extending from this flywheel is moved away from an arcuate cam surface of the aperture control cam to permit the rotation of a shutter blade drive lever until it engages with the arcuate cam surface of the control cam whereby the shutter blades are opened. When the control pin is returned to its initial position and engaged with the arcuate cam surface of the control cam again, the shutter blade drive lever is returned to its initial position to close the shutter blades. The degree of opening of the shutter blades is dependent upon the angle of rotation permitted to the shutter blade drive lever. When a flashcube is mounted, the exposure meter is made inoperative and the degree of opening of the shutter blades is dependent upon a distance to a subject by the stroke of displacement of a shutter blade drive pin which in turn is determined by a flashmatic cam which is operatively coupled to a distance setting ring.

The leading portion beyond the leading arcuate edge of a base plate for an exposure meter or exposure control meter is so bent that the leading end of the pointer may extend upwardly through an arcuate slot formed in the base plate from the undersurface thereof. The detecting arm of a detecting lever slides on the base plate in response to the shutter release operation toward the leading end of the pointer and engages therewith when the brightness of a subject is sufficient for EE photography. Thereafter a pointer retaining plate presses the pointer against the base plate, and depending upon the position of the pointer or the retaining plate, the exposure conditions are determined. When the brightness of a subject is not sufficient for EE photography, the leading end of the pointer is moved away from the path of the detecting arm so that the latter is displaced a greater stroke without being interrupted by the leading end of the pointer, and actuates a switch or switches in an electric circuit to select a slow shutter speed or set both of the shutter and flash cube triggering circuits ready for flash photography.

A photographic shutter in which the shutter blades are opened to such an extent as to define the effective aperture of the objective corresponding to the scene brightness for obtaining the proper exposure. The shutter has a first lever which pivots through a predetermined angle each time the shutter is operated, a second lever coupled with a shutter blade operating ring so as to open the shutter blades to an objective aperture corresponding to the pivoting movement of the second lever, and a third lever interposed between the first and second levers so as to transmit the movement of the first lever to the second lever. The pivot axis of the third lever is shifted in accordance with the scene brightness sensed by a photoelectric exposure control device so that the second lever is moved at a variable transmission ratio by the first lever in accordance with the sensed scene brightness for proper exposure.

AN EXPOSURE CONTROL WHICH ADJUSTS THE SHUTTER AND THE DIAPHRAGM OF A PHOTOGRAPHIC CAMERA AS A FUNCTION OF SCENE BRIGHTNESS EMPLOYS A MOVING-COIL INSTRUMENT WHOSE NEEDLE IS MOVABLE IN RESPONSE TO CHANGES IN SCENE BRIGHTNESS AND CAN BE ENGAGED BY A SCANNING MEMBER WHICH THEREBY ADJUSTS THE DIAPHRAGMS BY WAY OF TWO LEVERS. THE SHUTTER HAS A ROTARY CARRIER FOR SEVERAL BLADES AND AN IMPELLER WHICH CAN PROPEL THE CARRIER TO THEREBY MOVE THE BLADES TO OPEN POSITIONS. THE EXTENT OF SUCH MOVEMENT OF THE CARRIER DETERMINES THE EXPOSURE TIME AND IS CONTROLLED BY AN ARRESTING LEVER WHICH IS PIVOTABLE BY THE CARRIER AND THEN STRIKES AGAINST THE FACE OF ONE OF TWO COOPERATING TIMER CAMS THE OTHER OF WHICH IS COUPLED TO ONE OF THE LEVERS. THE FACES ON THE TIMER CAMS ARE INCLINED IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE POSITIONS OF THE LEVERS, AS SELECTED BY THE SCANNING MEMBER, CANNOT BE CHANGED WHEN THE ROTATING CARRIER CAUSES THE ARRESTING LEVER TO STRIKE AGAINST THE ONE TIMER CAM.

AN EXPOSURE CONTROL FOR STILL CAMERAS WHEREIN THE NEEDLE OF A MOVING-COIL INSTRUMENT IS SCANNED BY A MOVABLE SCANNING MEMBER WHICH IS COUPLED TO A FIRST RING FOR DIAPHRAGM VANES TO ADJUST THE APERTURE SIZE AS A FUNCTION OF SCENE BRIGHTNESS. THE SHUTTER BLADES ARE COUPLED TO A SECOND RING WHICH CAN BE PROPELLED BY AN IMPELLER TO LEAVE A STARTING POSITION AND TO THEREBY OPEN THE BLADES FOR AN INTERVAL OF TIME WHICH DEPENDS ON
THE EXTENT OF MOVEMENT OF THE SECOND RING FROM ITS STARTING POSITION. SUCH EXTENT IS DETERMINED BY THE FIRST RING BY WAY OF A TIMER CAM WHICH IS BIASED AGAINST A PIN OF THE FIRST RING AND HAS A CAM FACE EXTENDING INTO THE PATH OF MOVEMENT OF AN ARRESTING LEVER WHICH IS PIVOTED BY THE SECOND RING.
