    摘要: An aqueous-developable chromogenic photographic heat-transferable non-aqueous dye-diffusion-transfer photographic element is disclosed, wherein said element comprises radiation sensitive silver halide, a dye-providing compound that forms or releases a heat-transferable image dye upon reaction of said compound with the oxidation product of a primary amine developing agent, a hydrophilic binder, and a thermal solvent for facilitating non-aqueous diffusion transfer according to formula (I) ##STR1## wherein AH is a hydrogen bond donating group with an aqueous pK.sub.a value for proton loss of greater than 6;L.sup.1 and L.sup.2 are each independently divalent linking groups consisting of groups of 1 to 12 atoms or are independently absent;m is 1, 2, or 3;Q comprises a group of 2 to 15 carbon atoms selected from the group consisting of aromatic rings, alkyl chains, alkyl rings, or ring-chain combinations, optionally substituted with substituents, Z, consisting of alkyl groups or halogens;B is a hydrogen bond accepting group with an aqueous pK.sub.a value for proton gain of less than 6;n is 1 or 2;the groups AH and B cannot hydrogen bond to form a ring of either 5 or 6 atoms;R is an alkyl, aryl and alkylaryl group of from 1 to 18 carbon atoms;the calculated log of the octanol/water partition coefficient (clogP) is greater than 3 and less than 10.

    摘要: In a photothermographic silver halide composition capable of being coated on a support comprising a hydrophilic photosensitive silver halide emulsion containing a gelatino peptizer with an organic solvent mixture, a hydrophobic binder and an oxidation-reduction image-forming composition comprising (i) a silver salt of a long-chain fatty acid with (ii) an organic reducing agent, improvements are provided by a solvent mixture comprising a combination of (A) an alcohol photographic speed-increasing solvent which is a compound selected from the group consisting of benzyl alcohol photographic speed-increasing solvents and 2-phenoxyethanol speed-increasing solvents with (B) an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent that is compatible with the alcohol solvent and (C) 0 to 10% by weight of the solvent mixture of such hydrophobic binder. The described photothermographic composition can be prepared by very thoroughly mixing, such as ultrasonic wave mixing, (I) a hydrophilic photosensitive silver halide emulsion with (II) an organic solvent mixture comprising described (A), (B) and (C), and then very thoroughly mixing the resulting product with (III) comprising (a) a hydrophobic binder and (b) an oxidation-reduction image-forming composition comprising (i) a silver salt of a long-chain fatty acid with (ii) an organic reducing agent, typically in an organic solvent. The photothermographic composition can be coated on a suitable support to provide a photothermographic element.

    摘要: Disclosed is a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which is capable of forming an image by: after exposing a light-sensitive material, which comprises a first support having thereon at least one photographic light-sensitive layer comprising a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion, a developing agent, a compound capable of forming a dye upon coupling reaction with an oxidation product of the developing agent and a binder; attaching said light-sensitive material to a processing material, which comprises a second support having thereon a base and/or a base precursor, in such a way that the coated surfaces of the two materials faced each other, in the presence of a small amount of water which corresponds to from {fraction (1/10)} to 1 time water necessary for giving maximum swelling of all coated layers constituting the light-sensitive material and the processing material; and then heating the light-sensitive material and the processing material, wherein at least one said light-sensitive layer contains an emulsion having silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of 50 mol % or more, wherein the silver halide grains are tabular grains having (i) a main outer surface constituted by (100) faces, (ii) having a rectangular shape with adjacent major face (projection plane) edge ratios being from 1:1 to 1:2, and (iii) having an aspect ratio of 2 or more.
