Abstract:
The oscillating weight includes a drive ring and a heavy sector. The drive ring includes an annular transmission portion which has a coaxial toothing and a second annular portion concentric to the annular transmission portion, the heavy sector being fixed to the second annular portion. The drive ring further includes a plurality of connecting elements which are elastically deformable and which connect the annular transmission portion to the second annular portion.
Abstract:
A watch is provided in which a movement pivots in a case and comprises a mechanism for correcting display organs. In one implementation of the watch, an assembly member is constructed such that, in at least one predefined position, the movement occupies a defined position in the case. Moreover, a control system is provided which comprises a button accessible from outside of the case, a stem attached to the button and passing through the case, and a connecting member designed to connect the button to the correcting mechanism and constructed in such a way that, in the defined position, it can be connected to the stem.

388,690. Timepieces. MADER, D. H. and KAUFMANN, M. A., (trading as MADER & CO.), Chezard, Neuchatel, Switzerland. Sept. 20, 1932, No. 26115. Convention date, Sept. 23, 1931. [Class 139.] Winding - apparatus.-In a self-winding timepiece the oscillations of the movement 1 relatively to a stationary support 3 rewinds the mainspring, a shaft 11 rotatably mounted in the movement being provided with a crank 12 carrying a pawl 14 which drives a ratchet 17 of the winding train, links 5 being fixed to shaft 11 and pivoted to member 3 to allow oscillation between parts 1 and 3. A second pair of links 4 is pivoted to the case 2 and to the support 3. The latter has loops for the wrist strap 6, the portions 20 of which act as shock absorbers for case L. A spring 19 keeps pawl 14 in engagement with ratchet 17. The invention is also applicable to automobile clocks.

373,081. Watches. UHRENFABRIK LA CHAMPAGNE L. MULLER & CO. AKT.-GES., 21, Falkenstrasse, Biel, Switzerland. Dec. 21, 1931, No. 35357. Convention date, Jan. 8. [Class 139.] Winding - apparatus. -In a self-winding watch the movement 5 forms the winding weight and is carried in a rim 6 bearing lugs 7 pivotally connected at 9 to resilient links 8 pivoted to the casing 4 at 1a. The movement is thus suspended in a parallelogram guide 9, 10, 10, 9, the links 8 which preferably coact with return springs 12 acting as dampers and shock absorbers. The vibrations of the movement actuate the winding-mechanism through a rack 15 pivoted to the casing at 16 and forced by a spring 17 into engagement with a ratchet wheel 18 provided with a locking pawl 19, and geared to the winding-wheel 23. A friction clutch or other suitable means may be provided between wheels 18, 23 to prevent overwinding. The hand-setting stem 13 extends through a slot in casing 4 and in an outer casing if provided.
