The attachment device (28) is, in turn, affixed to a case front (16) using case attachment tabs (26) and screws (30). Accordingly, the computer monitor case (10) is constructed such that moldings for affixing the bezel (20) to the case (10) are not readily visible through the transparent case (10).

摘要： An apparatus for removing heat from heat generating elements is disclosed. The apparatus is a thermal management system having a thermal distribution assembly in either one of or both of conductive and radiative communication with heat generating elements. The thermal distribution assembly has thermal zones, each of which is associated with at least one heat generating element. The thermal distribution assembly includes a heat spreading frame and a heat conducting frame. Heat passes from the heat generating elements to the heat conducting frame and then to the heat spreading frame, from which the heat is removed via convection.

The device which prevents a relative movement of the printed circuit board with respect to a bracket to facilitate the installation of the printed circuit board while structuring the securing means for the circuit board so that a force is exerted that counters forces created by the activation of switches directly mounted to the main printed circuit board. The printed circuit board retaining device acts to maintain the printed circuit board in the appropriate location with respect to the supporting bracket while preventing the fracturing of tactile switches when an excess force is applied to the tactile switches.

摘要： An adjustment system for a video monitor including a microprocessor, a D/A converter, an on-screen display controller circuit and an operator input unit. The microprocessor is configured to output adjustment signals to input circuits of the video monitor via the D/A converter and overlay a message concerning image adjustment on a display screen via the on-screen display controller circuit. The adjustment system corrects the problem of conventional adjustment systems wherein adjustment operation cannot be carried out unless an operator is fully aware of and skilled in the adjustment procedure.

摘要： An electrical circuit control of the type having a knob which is turned by an operator to vary a circuit condition is affixed to the face of an electronic image display device and at least a portion of the knob overlays the image display area. This enables display of instantly changeable calibration marks and/or other graphics in close proximity to the circuit control including at locations immediately adjacent to the perimeter of the knob. Electronic components of the control are contained within the knob and a base member at the front of the panel. Components of this kind may be embedded in or attached to the knob itself enabling easy repair by simply replacing the knob and/or may be contained in an easily replaced carrier that fits within the base. Knob motion sensors include radio frequency sensors, capacitive sensors, Hall effect sensors and photoelectric sensors among others and enable the controls to be compact, durable and enable economic manufacture. A signal processor can convert initial values of the control signal produced at successive settings of a control to differing assigned values. The conversion method is applicable to sliding knob controls as well as rotary controls and enables imparting of any desired response curve to a circuit control without regard to the actual response of the knob motion sensor.
