    摘要: There is disclosed a semi-mountable plough comprising an elongate plough frame having a long forward frame section (1) carrying a plurality of plough bodies (2), a short intermediate section (3) pivotally connected to the rear end of the forward section (1), and a rear frame section (5) pivotally connected at its forward end to the rear of the intermediate section (3), with the plough being of a reversible type and the sections (1, 3, and 5) being pivotable relative to each other in a generally horizontal plane to take up new positions suitable for movement of the plough in a reverse direction. The rear frame section (5) is pivotable about a horizontal pivot (11) so as to follow any unevenness in the ground, and an hydraulically operated actuator (18, 19, 12') is coupled with said rear frame section and is operative to urge the frame section to pivot downwardly about said horizontal pivot (ii) and thereby maintain the plough actuator and includes a pressure regulator (20) to control the hydraulic pressure supplied to the actuator (12, 19, 12') so that a controlled biasing force is applied to the rear frame section (5) which maintains the required ploughing depth of the plough bodies (21), but which can be overcome so as to allow pivoting movement of the rear frame section (5) in order to follow the contour of the ground which is being ploughed.

The steering system includes a linkage mechanism for proportionately reducing the turning angle of the steering wheel relative to the steering angle of the tractor thereby allowing tractor turns to exceed 35.degree. to either side of the direction of travel of the plow assembly. The plow assembly further includes a mechanism for quickly and easily changing the spacing between adjacent plow units as the plow assembly is pulled through the field and with minimal operator involvement.

    摘要: A plurality of plow units are mounted to a main frame of a plow system for rotation about their vertical axes. The plow units are spaced at equal lateral increments and at uniformly increased distances from a pivot connection between the main frame and a traction vehicle. The plow units are ganged together by means of a guide beam; and a power actuator controls the motion of the guide beam in rotating the plow units so that their cut lines take a predetermined position relative to the main frame. As the plow system is then used to plow ground, the main frame swings about its pivot connection to the tractor until the plow units line up with the direction of travel of the tractor, thereby adjusting the spacing between plow units automatically. The rear plow unit is mounted to a tail section which is pivotally mounted to the main frame and includes a rear wheel for supporting the distal end of the main frame and for steering the system as the tractor turns. A second power actuator is adapted to lift the main frame relative to the rear wheel for adjusting plow depth or pulling the system over ground without plowing it.

    摘要: A semimounted rollover two-way plow having right- and left-hand plow bottoms rotatably mounted about a generally longitudinally extending tubular member, the tubular member being supported at its rear end by a steerable rear furrow wheel and at its front end by a transversely shiftable hitch crossbar. A pair of singleacting hydraulic cylinders rotate the plow bottoms between their alternate plowing positions while a first double-acting hydraulic cylinder sets the rear furrow wheel at alternate angular positions for right- and left-hand plowing so that the rear furrow wheel will be laterally offset from the centerline of the tractor and a second double-acting hydraulic cylinder sets the crossbar at alternate lateral positions for right- and left-hand plowing. The double-acting hydraulic cylinders are connected in parallel with each other and each of the single-acting cylinders is connected in parallel with one end of each of the doubleacting cylinders so that when the plow bottoms are rotated between their alternate positions, the rear furrow wheel and hitch crossbar are simultaneously moved to their respective alternate positions.
