    摘要： A rodent trap includes a base, a trigger mechanism and a spring activated snap cover. During operation, a rodent touching the trigger mechanism releases the spring activated snap cover which quickly snaps over the trigger mechanism either enclosing and trapping the rodent or snapping onto the rodent and retaining the rodent by snapping onto the rodent and retaining the rodent between the base and the edges of the snap cover. The snap cover includes rounded edges which fit into flange portions on the base and which aid in retaining the rodent in the rodent trap.

    摘要： An insect or vermin trap having a main housing and high voltage generating means within the housing. The generating means generates a voltage of sufficient magnitude for exterminating insects, vermin or the like entering the trap. One or more entries into the main housing when the electrodes are in that housing or into the separate housing if the electrodes are in a separate housing the the entries enabling insects or vermin to enter the trap. Two spaced electrodes either within the main housing or separate housing supplied with the voltage generated by the generating means for exterminating insects or the like which bridge the space between the electrodes. Control means is present for providing controlled alternation between an on period for which the electrodes are supplied with the high voltage and an off period for which the electrodes are not supplied with the voltage.

    摘要： An improved spring-activated mole trap that includes various safety features that make the mole trap safe to use by non-professionals. The mole trap includes a foot bar that enables the individual to activate the trap using his or her foot, a limiting u-shaped member that prevents the trigger arm from snapping rearward and injuring the trapper's fingers if the trap is accidentally activated while being set. The improved trap also includes a pair of handles that extend upward from the tunnel when the trap is vertically aligned in the tunnel. Using the handles, the user is able to more easily position the trap inside the tunnel. The trap further includes a wider, re-aligned trigger located closer to the soil to prevent a mole from burrowing under the trigger plate and thereby avoiding activating the trap.

    摘要： A tined mole trap apparatus for catching moles of all sizes and preventing escape includes a pair of jaws comprising an outer jaw and an inner jaw. Each of the pair of jaws have a U-shaped upper portion and a pair of curved outer arms extending from the upper portion. A pair of crossbars is coupled between the pair of outer arms proximal the upper portion. A plurality of tines is coupled to the pair of crossbars. A pivot rod is coupled through the upper portion of each of the pair of jaws such that the inner jaw pivotably moves within the outer jaw between a clamped position and a spread position. A spring engages the pair of crossbars to force the pair of jaws towards the clamped position. A trigger plate is coupled to the crossbar of the inner jaw. A set rod maintains the pair of jaws in the spread position.
