摘要: Reducing fines from an agricultural spray dispensed from a nozzle is provided in the disclosed methods. The agricultural spray comprises water, an agricultural composition such as a pesticide, at least one oil emulsion drift reduction adjuvant, and at least one spontaneous emulsion drift reduction adjuvant. The agricultural spray exhibits fewer fine droplets having a diameter less than about 105 μm, about 150 μm, and/or about 210 μm compared to an agricultural spray neither or only one of the oil emulsion drift reduction adjuvant and the spontaneous emulsion drift reduction adjuvant.

In some instances, the plurality of particles have an average diameter of 25 nm to 5 μm. Exemplary suspensions may be applied to plant surfaces.

A ready-to-use barrier and knockdown pesticide composition comprises a killing agent; a knockdown agent; a surface-active agent; and a carrier, and the composition is a water-in-oil emulsion. A method for controlling pests comprises applying the RTU barrier and knockdown pesticide composition directly to a target pest using a sprayer. The present compositions and methods provide average users an immediate indication of the knockdown efficiency against target pests.

摘要: A water emulsion containing a higher aliphatic alcohol of the present disclosure can affect contents of signal substances lysophosphatidylcholine and lysophosphatidylethanolamine in Solanaceae plants, and transcriptional levels of genes related to phenylpropanoid metabolism pathway by an external application, thereby inhibiting senescence and increasing shelf life of the Solanaceae plants. In addition, a use of improving a resistance to pests and diseases of the Solanaceae plants can be achieved by increasing a content of lignin.
