摘要: The objective of the present invention is to provide a repellent which has a selectivity. Specifically, the repellent does not cause damage to an Apidae bee but suppresses the aggression of a Vespidae wasp and prevents a Vespidae wasp from coming close and building a nest. Also, the objective of the present invention is to provide a method for repelling a Vespidae wasp. The Vespidae wasp repellent according to the present invention is characterized in comprising a compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active component: wherein R1 is hydrogen atom or the like, X is a C1-4 alkylene group or the like, α is a substituent, n is an integer of 0 or more and 5 or less.

摘要: Rat attractant compositions attractive to the rat species Rattus norvegicus are disclosed, which compositions are constituted of compounds found in the headspace volatiles of male urine odor or female urine odor. Said compositions are respectively termed male pheromone blend (MPB) and comprises 2-heptanone, 4-heptanone, 3-ethyl-2-heptanone, 2-octanone, 2-nonanone, and 4-nonanone in a ratio of 10:100:10:1:1:10 respectively, or female pheromone blend (FPB) and comprises 2-methyl-butyric acid, 3-methyl-butyric acid, heptanal, hexanoic acid, 2-phenylacetaldehyde, nonanal, and decanal in a ratio of 20:20:10:30:5:20:10. Devices including the rat attractant compositions, and methods of using said rat attractant compositions, are also disclosed.

摘要: Provided is an absorption promotor for causing a flying-insect pest repellent fragrance-containing composition with a high repellent effect to be rapidly absorbed into an elastomer molded body. The absorption promotor for causing a flying-insect pest repellent fragrance-containing composition into an elastomer molded body having a hardness of 60 degrees or less includes d-limonene and/or 1,8-cineole as an active ingredient. The absorption promotor is blended preferably in a range of 2.0 to 65% by mass and more preferably 10 to 45% by mass in the flying-insect pest repellent fragrance-containing composition.
