    摘要： This invention relates to portable suspended shelters, or hammocks having canopies, in which one or more persons occupy. More specifically this invention relates to a hammock having a fabric bed tensioned between two spaced anchors and stabilized in three ways. Firstly, the invention is tensioned by a main horizontal tensioning strap, which spans the hammock between the two spaced anchors. Additionally the invention is stabilized by support straps, which span from an elevated point on the spaced anchors to the corners of the hammock bed. Thirdly, the invention is tensioned and stabilized by a collapsible spreader-pole, which spans the hammock laterally at each longitudinal end. Upon this stable hammock is connected a collapsible tent-pole configuration which supports a mosquito netting enclosure and a retractable raincover which may be retracted and reattached from inside the mosquito netting enclosure.

A kit of parts for converting a conventional mosquito control net into a trapping mosquito control net can comprise a funnel-shaped receptacle surrounded by a bag, the bag being substantially impermeable to mosquitos and the receptacle and/or the bag being attachable to a top surface of the conventional mosquito control net to form a trap compartment.

    摘要： A novel valance support is disclosed and described. The valance support includes a first and a second side portion disposed at substantially right angles to one another by means of a gusset. A first and a second arm are connected to the first and the second side portions, respectively. Four valance supports are disposed above the four corners of a standard bed and rigidly connected to the ceiling by means of a toggle bolt. Corner draperies are then suspended from the valance support by means of drapery hooks which hook into apertures disposed in the side portions and arms. Such suspension converts a standard bed into what is commonly referred to as a poster bed. The invention further includes an outside ruffle attachment which is secured relative to the valance support. An elastic cord or the like is stretched between each pair of attachments and connected thereto by means of a clip. An outside ruffle may then be disposed around the peripheral edges of the bed and connected to the attachment and the elastic cord by means of drapery hooks. The invention still further includes a bracket which is connected to each valance support and to a canopy which may be suspended above the bed. Finally, the invention also includes extension sleeves which are connected to the first or the second arm to increase the width of the valance support in order to increase the fullness of the corner drapery suspended from the valance support.
