摘要： In a spin-dryable mop, a handle includes upper and lower tubes. A spinning mechanism movably connects the upper tube to the lower tube. The spinning mechanism rotates the upper tube on the lower tube when the upper tube moves axially on the lower tube. A locking mechanism includes a sleeve and a quick-release. The sleeve is secured to the upper tube and located at a place where the upper tube is connected to the lower tube. The sleeve includes an opening. The quick-release is connected to the sleeve in the opening. The quick-release includes a cam extending through the opening to press the lower tube to keep the upper tube in position on the lower tube. A spin-drying mechanism includes a net for movably receiving the lower tube and a shelter for rotationally receiving the net. A mop head is connected to the lower tube.

摘要： A floor cleaning tool is disclosed that includes a simplified structure for a mop head and squeezing element that allows for clean and compact storage of the mop head. The floor cleaning tool comprises a mop head having a backing surface supporting a cleaning material, a handle, and a squeezing element. The backing surface includes a first backing side and second backing side such that the mop head can be in a first position wherein the cleaning material is planar and a second position wherein the cleaning material is nonplanar. The handle extends from the backing surface. The squeezing element is longitudinally slidable along the handle and disconnected from the mop head. The squeezing element comprises a first squeezing side, a second squeezing side, a first connecting side between the first squeezing side and second squeezing side, and second connecting side between the first squeezing side and second squeezing side. The first squeezing side abuts with the first backing side and the second squeezing side abuts with the second backing side to move the mop head from the first position to the second position. In the second position the mop head is entirely positioned within the squeezing element.

摘要： A mop having a handle with a wringing frame disposed at a distal end, which defines a cam slot. An actuator lever is pivotally attached to the handle intermediate the distal and proximal ends and is coupled to an actuator linkage that extends into the internal hollow of the handle and connects to a pad plate, which supports a cleaning pad, such as a sponge thereon at the distal end of the mop. The pad plate has hinges that permit it to bend upon itself. When the actuator lever is moved to wring the cleaning pad, the actuator linkage pulls the pad plate at least partially through the cam slot, causing it to bend at the hinges and wring the cleaning pad supported thereon.

A pair of spaced apart retention members is located on the main body, each retention member respectively having an aligned opening to receive a respective post and a pair of teeth to be received in a respective transverse notch of a post. Each tooth is formed as part of a tooth section having a transverse tooth and an upper squeeze handle. Each tooth section further includes an exterior flared section which functions as a spring. The spring force of the flared sections of a respective member forces a respective tooth into engagement with a transverse notch on a post.

摘要： Disclosed is a butterfly mop having an elongate shaft with a mop element disposed at one end of the shaft and a wringer connected to the shaft and the mop element. In preferred embodiments, the wringer includes a channel body having first and second leg portions defining a channel therebetween. The mop element includes a foldable, compressible, liquid-absorbent member, a mounting element having first and second support portions connected by a flexible member, and a scrubber mounted to the mounting element. The mop element and channel body are movable relative to one another, whereby the mop element may be drawn into the channel causing the mop element to fold along a central transverse axis and to become compressed between the channel body leg portions. The wringer includes a handle and an actuator link connecting the handle to one of the mop element and channel body for effecting relative hinged movement thereof. In some embodiments, the mop element includes a support that has first and second support portions and a flexible member connecting the first and second support portions. In certain embodiments, a fastener having a barbed shaft is used to connect the mop element to the wringing mechanism of the mop.
