摘要： A golf putt training apparatus is provided which assists a golfer in maintaining the putter head along an intendded target line while practicing a putting stroke. The training apparatus includes a pair of mutually opposing guide rails having plurality of substantially rigid teeth projecting in the direction of the opposing guide rail which stop the putter head from advancing off the intended target line. By leaving to advance the putter head between the guide rails without engaging the rigid teeth a golfer can develop a habit of keeping the putter head on the desired target line during a putting stroke.

摘要： A golf club, such as a putter, having a first tube, a second tube, and a clamp assembly. The clamp assembly defines a longitudinally extending bore, a shoulder surface on the exterior surface of the clamp assembly, an orifice extending from the inner surface of the bore toward the exterior surface of the clamp assembly, and an aperture extending between the orifice and the exterior surface of the clamp assembly. A lower portion of the clamp assembly is received within the first tube. The putter further including a shaft and a captured fastening member. The shaft is received within the bore of the clamp assembly and a portion of the shaft proximate its rear end is received within the second tube. The fastening member is operatively received within the orifice of the clamp assembly and is in selective contact with a portion of the exterior surface of the shaft such that the shaft and the second tube may be fixed relative to the clamp assembly.

摘要： A golf club includes a first and a second hollow shaft members that are releasably connected by a hollow connector. The hollow connector has a hollow male connector that has a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is threaded on an exterior surface. The first portion of the male connector is coupled to one of the connecting ends of the shaft members. The hollow connector also has a hollow female connector that is coupled to an interior portion of the other shaft member. The threads on the exterior of the male connector are releasably mated with interior threads on the female connector to provide an assembled golf club that may be disassembled for travel, but has characteristics that do not substantially vary from a similar conventional club. A method of manufacturing a separable-shaft golf clubs is also presented.

摘要： An adjustable length shaft assembly including a handle portion and an extensible shaft. An upper end of the shaft includes a set of locking teeth. The handle has an internal locking mechanism with a tooth rack to accommodate the locking teeth. A control handle is rotated in a first direction, rotating the teeth away from the tooth rack, where the teeth are in a disengaged, unlocked position. With the teeth unlocked, the shaft can be longitudinally adjusted to achieve the desired length. Then, the control handle is rotated in a second direction, rotating the teeth into the tooth rack, where the teeth are in an engaged, locked position. In this manner, the teeth and the tooth rack provide a plurality of positive locking positions, each position providing a different shaft length.
