Abstract: Shooting accuracy in archery may be greatly improved by increasing the precision and repeatability in which an archer establishes “anchor points,” which are contact points between the archer and a drawn bow and arrow at a moment of launch. One such contact point is the fingers of the hand gripping the bow grip. The invention provides a torque spike as a bow grip aid which enables an archer to repeatably grip the same location of the bow grip and maintain consistent grip firmness from one shot to the next.

Abstract: Shooting accuracy in archery may be greatly improved by increasing the precision and repeatability in which an archer establishes “anchor points,” which are contact points between the archer and a drawn bow and arrow at a moment of launch. One such contact point is the hand gripping the bow grip. The invention provides a bow grip aid which enables an archer to repeatably grip the same location of the bow grip and maintain consistent grip firmness from one shot to the next. Reducing variances of this aspect of the archer's form benefits the archer by reducing variances between the archer's sighting process and determination of point of aim, and the impact point of the arrow on its target. The invention helps archers grip a bow more consistently so they can consistently place each arrow where they want it to go.

Abstract: Provided is an adjustable custom grip and method of forming the same are provided. The method of forming a customized putter grip includes orienting a first grip member having a first contact surface and a second grip member having a second contact surface of the customized putter grip in a predetermined orientation selected from a set of angles between the first contact surface and the second contact surface. The method may also include fixing the first grip member and the second grip member in the predetermined orientation. The method may further include coupling the customized putter grip with fixed first grip member and second grip member to a shaft of a putter. The custom grip provides for an anatomically, ergonomically custom putter grip to accommodate variations in human hands and other anatomical parts that affect the holding of a golf club grip.

Abstract: A method and system for improving the accuracy of putting a golf ball that includes a golf glove for use with a putter grip that has a straight edge, with the golf glove having a visual line alignment feature/illustration that allows a golfer to place his or her hand in a repeatable, proper position on the grip of the putter. The golf glove employed is devoid of any putter attachment feature, such as hook-and-loop fastener material on the glove or the golf grip and is further devoid of any indicia affixed to the back-hand portion of a glove that could be viewed as an alignment indicia, as it only complicates and confuses a golfer when putting. Preferred embodiments include a golf glove that includes a marking forming a straight line that diagonally crosses the palm portion of the glove such that, when worn by a wearer, provides the wearer with a visual indication of the proper gripping position of a golf putter, such putter having a grip that has at least one flat surface and an edge extending down the axial length of the grip that can be aligned with the visual indicator markings/line on the golf glove.

Abstract: A flexible elastomeric grip for a golf club having indicators on the upper face which indicate visibly to the user when the angle of lie is less than, greater than, and optimum when the user grips the club and addresses the ball. The indicator on its end cap indicates visibly to the user when the angle of lean is neutral or left or right of neutral by at least five degrees (5°). The visible indicator may be either by a changing holographic image or reflective coating. Another version provides a combined angle of lean and angle of lie indicator in an end cap on a flexible grip.

Abstract: An object is to provide a badminton racket capable of easily achieving different performance properties on both sides of the hitting surface easily. A racket includes a frame which extends annularly, a grip, and a string which is stretched across the frame to form a hitting surface on both sides of the frame. The frame is formed to make the front surface portion and the back surface portion thereof asymmetrical in shape in a cross sectional view taken along a plane orthogonal to the extension direction of the frame. The formation of the frame into such an asymmetrical shape makes it possible to change performance properties on shuttlecock hitting between the front and back sides of the hitting surface at the time of hitting the shuttlecock, thus making it possible for the player to obtain two difference capabilities with the single racket simply by changing his or her grip.

Abstract: A sequence training bat that separates a pair of hands of a batter when training so that the batter feels the proper sequence of hand and arm movements. The training bat has a barrel connecting through a crosspiece to a handle for a bottom hand to grip and parallel to the bat handle, a rod for a top hand to grip. The rod connects to the bat by the crosspiece. Vibrations resulting from hitting a ball are minimized when they travel down the barrel to the crosspiece where they are horizontally dispersed, allowing better and instant feedback to the batter without any confusion caused by vibrations. Each hand grips a different part of the training bat so that the sequence training bat can provide immediate and separate feedback to each hand. The sequence training maintains a balanced feel.
