Abstract: A hockey skate includes a system for adjusting the position of a blade holder on the sole of a hockey skate. The system allows for both toe in and toe out adjustment as well as movement relative to the centerline. The system allows a player to try various positions and determine which positions produce superior skating performance relative to his foot, ankle and leg alignment.

Abstract: An ice skate comprising a boot modifiable in length disposed on a blade holder frame, and a locking mechanism. The blade holder frame includes a recessed surface disposed on a forward section of the blade holder frame longitudinally along a longitudinal axis of the skate. The boot includes a heel portion disposed on the blade holder frame and a toe box portion slidable on the blade holder frame. The toe box portion includes a first slot disposed longitudinally along the longitudinal axis of the skate, a perimeter wall extending downward from the first slot, and downwardly extending channel walls. The perimeter wall seats within the recessed forward surface of the blade holder frame to securably guide the toe box rearwardly or forwardly. The locking mechanism includes first and second detents disposed on the downwardly extending channel walls engaging a plurality of indentations disposed on the forward section of the blade holder frame.

Abstract: An adjustable frame assembly for skates to allow for attachment of the frame in a number of positions along the length of the boot portion of the skate. The assembly comprises a skate foot bed containing two recessed portions each containing an opening flanked by ribs corresponding to ribs on a T-nut allowing the T-nut to rest in a variety of positions in the recessed portion. The T-nut further comprises a threaded opening for coupling to a fastener which attaches the frame to the base of the boot portion of the skate.

Abstract: An adjustable skate includes a boot, a liner, and a bladder. The boot includes an upper and a sole, the upper having a toe cap and a heel portion. The liner is mounted in the boot and includes a bottom plate slidably mounted on the sole and a toe box on a front end of the bottom plate. A chamber for receiving a foot of a wearer's foot is defined between the toe box of the liner and the heel portion of the boot. The bladder is mounted between the toe box of the liner and the toe cap of the boot. The bladder has a volume that is adjustable through inflation of air into the bladder or discharge of air out of the bladder, thereby moving the liner along a lengthwise direction of the boot.

Abstract: A roller skate with a micro adjustment device includes a wheel frame, a quarter and a vamp, the wheel frame has a first chain and slots on both sides, and a second chain on top surface thereof, the vamp also comprises a third chain and holes on both sides as well, a quick release device is inserted with its shaft through the holes of the vamp and the slots of the wheel frame that aligns the first chain and the third chain, the shaft secures a gear aligns with the second chain, by tightening and loosening of the quick release device, the gear is adjustable with regard to the second chain, thus the third chain of the vamp is adjustable along the first chain of the wheel frame.
