Abstract: A makeup machine includes a spray head, a main body, an arched track, and vertical support. The spray head has a receptacle to receive a spray cartridge containing a skin spray. The main body houses a controller circuit that controls a position of the spray head with respect to a target of the skin spray. The arched track has a curved shape on a horizontal plane, and the vertical support is attached to the arched track. The controller circuit causes the spray head to slide along the arched track, and adjusts a height of the vertical support to cause the arched track and the spray head to move up and down. The makeup machine also includes a linear track controlled by the controller circuit to adjust a horizontal distance between the spray head and the target.

Abstract: The invention is directed at systems and methods which provide for effective cleaning and drying of vehicles of different shapes and sizes. The invention in one example includes a vehicle washing apparatus comprising a conveyor system to move a vehicle along a path, and a bridge assembly supported above a vehicle and moveable along the length thereof. At least one trolley assembly is operatively supported by the bridge assembly and is moveable in a direction generally transverse to the movement of the bridge assembly. At least one cleaning arm assembly for delivering cleaning fluid to or for brushing the surface of a vehicle is operatively supported by the at least one trolley assembly or bridge. The cleaning arm assembly is moveable with the bridge assembly along the length of the vehicle, and transversely with the at least one trolley assembly to adjust the location of the cleaning arm relative to the vehicle, wherein the bridge assembly moves in association with movement of the vehicle to position the cleaning arm assembly adjacent at least a portion of the front, sides and rear of the vehicle as it moves along the path. A variable impact or patterning spray arm or drying system is also provided.

Abstract: In a spraying process for coating a substrate with a substance atomised in a stream of gas, a spray head is used to generate a stream of gas that acts upon the substrate. The substance is present in a syringe-like application container equipped with an application tip. The application tip of the application container containing the substance is introduced into the stream of gas outside the spray head at a distance therefrom and transversely with respect to the main direction of flow of the stream of gas, and the substance is introduced from the application container into the stream of gas at that location.
