    摘要: An endless conveyor for conveying substantially rotationally-symmetrical products, comprising at least one endless conveying element and a number of transverse elements extending substantially perpendicularly to a conveying direction. At least one hourglass-shaped roller is mounted on each transverse element. The mutual distance between the successive transverse elements in a first path part is smaller than in a second path part. A first control device is provided for effecting an increase of distance between the transverse elements at a first transition from the first to the second path part. A second control device is provided for effecting a decrease of distance between the transverse elements at a second transition from the second to the first path part. A rotationally-symmetrical support element is movable, in a portion of the second path, between each pair of successive hourglass-shaped rollers for supporting the products to be conveyed.

Viewed in the direction of rotation, the leading flank of each tooth of the screening stars extends along an approximately straight line near the tip of the tooth and defines a curve from the tooth trough to the flank area.

    摘要: The invention relates to a roller screen for screening pellets for sintering, the roller screen including several successive rotating rollers that are spaced apart and arranged transversally in relation to the proceeding direction of the material. The roller screen is provided with separate rotation motors for rotating each of the rollers and an adjusting member for adjusting the mutual position of the rollers in order to screen a desired particle size. The screen path of the roller screen is composed of three successive screening parts, which are mutually connected so that the rollers of the screening parts are made to rotate in relation to each other, and the speed of rotation of the roller increases in the proceeding direction of the material towards the final end of the roller screen.

    摘要: The harvester has a harvesting head, a shredder, cleaning and separating assemblies including a roller bed, a fruit sizer and a fruit discharge. The roller bed includes a plurality of parallel rollers journaled on a roller bed frame. The roller bed frame is pivoted relative to the harvester frame to control the rate of movement of crop material in an axial direction relative to the rollers. Nips are formed between the rollers. A bar is supported by the roller bed frame directly above each nip in a position parallel to the adjacent nip. These bars are vertically adjustable toward and away from the nips to accommodate different sizes and shapes of fruit and to keep two rollers from simultaneously engaging one fruit. A reversible drive rotates adjacent rollers in opposite directions to separate leaves and stems from the fruit.

    摘要: A compound disc is used to eliminate a secondary slot normally formed between the outside perimeter of discs on adjacent shafts of a material separation screen. The compound disc includes a primary disc joined to an associated secondary disc. The primary disc and the secondary disc each have the same shape but the secondary disc has a smaller outside perimeter and is wider. The primary disc and associated secondary disc are formed from a unitary piece of rubber. The compound discs are interleaved with oppositely aligned compound discs on adjacent shafts. In other words, the large disc is positioned laterally on a shaft to longitudinally align with a smaller disc on an adjacent shaft. The oppositely aligned and alternating arrangement between the large discs and small discs eliminate the secondary slot that normally exists in disc screens.

    摘要: A disc screen apparatus is disclosed for separating mixed recyclable materials of varying sizes and shapes. The disc screen apparatus has an enclosure or frame with an input, a container discharge location and a paper discharge location. A first plurality of shafts and second plurality of shafts are rotatably supported by the frame. The first plurality of shafts form a first disc screen disposed in a first plane and the second plurality of shafts form a second disc screen at least a portion of which is disposed in a second plane. The second plane is disposed beneath and angled with respect to the first plane such that the planes at least partially overlap. One or more motors rotate the first and second plurality of shafts. Each shaft has a plurality of discs positioned along it. The discs are offset between adjacent shafts such that discs on each shaft interleave with discs on an adjacent shaft but do not touch the adjacent shaft. The discs are substantially square in shape with radiused corners. The radiused corners have a texture, such as ridges. The arrangement of the discs on the shafts creates a screening pattern capable of screening a portion of the mixed recyclable materials. Each disc is assembled about a shaft from two identical portions. The portions are clamped together, about the shaft to form the disc. If the disc is damaged or worn, it may be removed from the shaft for repair or replacement without disassembly of the shaft from the apparatus or removal of other discs. The discs are also disclosed as comprising an inner rigid frame supporting an outer, softer material.

    摘要: An apparatus for separating tobacco stem particles from a mixture containing such particles and tobacco stalk particles obtained in a threshing and separating process employed in a tobacco stemmery includes a hollow drum having a longitudinal axis, the hollow drum being mounted for rotational movement about its axis and the axis being disposed at a slight angle with respect to the horizontal so as to establish a higher inlet end and a lower outlet end of the hollow drum. A mixture handling structure is constructed and arranged with respect to the inlet end of the hollow drum to feed a supply of a mixture containing tobacco stem particles and tobacco stalk particles obtained in the threshing and separating process into the inlet end of the hollow drum. The hollow drum has a periphery formed of a foraminus structure that includes a plurality of generally axially extending parallel bars spaced apart a distance sufficient to allow the passage of tobacco stem particles therethrough while substantially preventing the passage of tobacco stalk particles therethrough. A power operated assembly rotates the hollow drum about its axis at a speed sufficient to cause a portion of the mixture entering the inlet end and falling on the lowermost bars which has not passed through the spaces between the bars to be carried through a cycle which includes an upward movement with the movement of the bars and a falling movement downwardly onto the lowermost bars at a position downstream and a repetition of the cycle until the remaining mixture is moved out the lower outlet end of the hollow drum. A tobacco stem handling structure below the hollow drum receives the tobacco stem particles passing through the spaces between the bars as the particles of the mixture are cycled within the rotating hollow drum and moves the tobacco stem particles away. A tobacco stalk particle handling structure at the outlet end of the hollow drum receives the remaining mixture moved out of the lower outlet end of the hollow drum and moves the remaining mixture away.
