摘要： A machine for the forming of the body member of two-piece metal cans uses a carrier upon which are mounted six or more pairs of ram assemblies. The rams are driven by cam action on a fixed track and the rams each carry a pair of wheels which ride on the track. Each of the rams is rectangular in cross-section, to counteract centrifugal force, and is an aluminum alloy coated with a Teflon-ceramic coating so that the ram is light in weight and does not require a liquid lubricant.
