    摘要: A fishhook remover for dehooking a fishhook from a catch is provided. The fishhook remover includes a first jaw and a second jaw, wherein the first jaw has a needle for engaging an eye of the fishhook, the needle projecting from a surface of the first jaw toward an opposing surface of the second jaw; wherein the second jaw has an opening on the opposing surface that is configured to receive the needle. The first and second jaws are operatively coupled to move between an open position where the first and second jaws are separated by a maximum distance possible and the eye of the fishhook can fit over the needle, and a closed position where the first and second jaws are at their closest approach to one another and the needle contacts the second jaw to securely retain the fishhook between the first and second jaws.

    摘要: A tool for securing a clamp having a band and a clip is provided. The tool includes a base member and a first handle coupled to the base member. A cinching handle is rotationally coupled to the base member adjacent the first handle. A crimping handle is rotationally coupled to the base member adjacent the first handle opposite the cinching handle. A holding means is provided for holding the clip. A tensioning means is provided for moving a tab end portion of the band through the clip, the tensioning means being operably coupled to the cinching handle. A crimping means is provided for locking the clip to the band, the crimping means being operably coupled to the crimping handle. A severing means is provided for severing the tab end portion from the band, the severing means being operably coupled to the crimping handle.

    摘要: High leverage locking-type pliers incorporating a four bar linkage system adapted to amplify force applied by the user to an object gripped between jaws of the pliers. The pliers include first and second handles, first and second jaws, and a center link rotatably or pivotally coupled to the first and second handles. A first link pivot where the center link rotatably or pivotally couples to the second handle may be a first distance L1 away from a second jaw pivot where the second jaw rotatably or pivotally couples the second handle. A first jaw pivot where the second jaw rotatably or pivotally couples the first handle is a second distance L2 away from the second jaw pivot. In an embodiment, the first distance L1 is about 34% to about 70% of the second distance L2.

    摘要: A pot gripper comprises a first lever and a second lever joined at a fulcrum. The first lever has a first jaw extending from the fulcrum, and the second lever has a second jaw extending from the fulcrum.     摘要: A release tool for use with a push-fit valve includes a fixed member and a movable member. The fixed member includes: a central portion defining a base aperture, the central portion being rotatably fixed relative to the valve when a valve lever base is received in the base aperture; and a guiding arm extending from a side of the central portion so as to extend along a side of a valve body. The movable member defines: a conduit aperture configured for a conduit to extend therethrough during use; and a guiding aperture receiving the guiding arm of the fixed member. To disconnect the conduit from the valve, the movable member is moved from the first position to the second position to push the release collar inwardly into the valve, causing a grab ring of the valve to release the conduit. The movable member is selectively retained in the second position.
