    摘要: Provided are a sheet processing device and a sheet manufacturing apparatus capable of removing color material from printed parts without excess or deficiency. A sheet processing device has a detector configured to detect a printed part printed on a sheet; and an eraser configured to selectively remove at least a surface part of a printed area including the printed part detected by the detector. The eraser includes a grinding tool to grind the sheet, and a pressure mechanism configured to selectively increase contact pressure between the sheet and the grinding tool in the printed area.

    摘要: A lift-off tape capable of being used many times which comprises a foundation and an adhesive layer provided on one major surface of the foundation, said adhesive layer containing a plasticizer capable of plasticizing a polyamide resin which is a main component of the vehicle of a correctable ink. The lift-off tape can be used many times to remove erroneous typed impressions of a correctable ink which contains a polyamide resin as a main component of the vehicle thereof.

    摘要: In the illustrated embodiment, a guide element is provided in advance of the platen-pressure roller gap for the purpose of preventing creasing of thin papers during transport. The guide element may have a retracted position providing for unobstructed movement of the paper leading edge along an insertion channel and into the platen-pressure roller gap. Then during paper transport by the platen, the guide element is shifted to an active position for deflecting the paper toward the platen such that the paper contacts the platen in advance of the pressure roller over a substantial angle (e.g. 15.degree.-20.degree.). A spring for urging the guide element to active position may have a spring force more insufficient to substantially deflect thick types of paper not subject to creasing.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a mobile printer, includes an RFID writer capable of writing information to an RFID tag, such as one embedded in a merchandise tag or price tag. The mobile printer additionally includes a print head storing decolorable ink that can be made substantially invisible or indistinguishable on a merchandise tag or price tag. The print head is configured to discharge decolorable ink for printing information on a merchandise tag or price tag. The decolorable ink can be discolored/decolored after being used to print information on a merchandise tag or price tag to permit information on the merchandise tag or price tag to be changed after an initial printing.
