    摘要： A nib piece with high roundness is obtained in the following manner: in the forming of the nib piece, a punched hole is formed in a base portion of a punched plate which is to be bent; the base portion of the punched plate is bent and shaped into a tubular structure; a pipe member which is aligned with and accommodated in the tubular body, is disposed in an inner portion of the base portion of the punched plate having been bent; and the punched plate is shaped to obtain a structure to wrap an outer periphery of the pipe member. The punched plate includes an engageable joint portion, such as a protrusion and a recess, which engage each other and form a hooked edge when the punched plate is bent into a cylindrical form.

    摘要： A penpoint has a base portion and a plurality of comb-tooth pieces and a converging member fitted over the portion of the penpoint body between the base portion and the comb-tooth pieces. The uniform pressure of the converging member converges the comb-tooth pieces front ends into an undistorted hemispheric writing portion having ink passages between the adjoining comb-tooth pieces. When the penpoint is pressed against paper with the pen axis inclined, the front ends of the comb-tooth pieces shift and elastically deform to expand the outer diameter of the hemispheric portion. When pressure is relieved it returns to its original hemispherical shape. The thickness of strokes varies according to writing pressure. The penpoint can write in any direction.

A portion of the nib is frictionally positioned within the grip, and includes a tip for engaging a writing surface. The stem, the nib and the grip form a reservoir into which an ink filament is positioned.

    摘要： A nib for dispensing fluid comprising an elastomeric valve including a relatively rigid internal resistor. The nib is suitable for dispensing highly viscous fluids, such as paint, and for dispensing fluid containing particulate matter, such as glitter paint. Preferably, the nib includes a first sealing lip and a second sealing lip which meet to form a dispensing slit. Preferably, the nib has an exterior surface including first and second opposing faces, wherein each face includes an external resistor. The nib may also include one or more protrusions on the bottom of the nib. A instrument for dispensing fluid is also disclosed.
